Dynasty | Bucs running back Bucky Irving had 44 rushing yards, two catches and 12 receiving yards in a loss against Atlanta. Dynasty Analysis: #timeshare. With Rachaad White (66 yards on 13 touches), this has officially turned into a 50/50 timeshare with the two running backs. Irving clearly has more juice, but White has also been effective at times this season. This looks like great news for the Bucs, but a frustrating development in dynasty leagues. At this point, each of these runners is a Flex play at best unless the other misses time. Irving is a solid dynasty hold at the moment.

Oct 4 8:10am CT

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White put together his best performance of the season on the ground during Thursday's game against the Atlanta Falcons. White rushed the ball 10 times for 72 yards in what ended up being an overtime loss to Tampa Bay. It's worth noting that 56 of the yards came on one play, so White struggled throughout most of this game. Fellow back Bucky Irving didn't do a whole lot better with a fumble and getting stood up at the goal line. It remains clear that the Bucs are going to use a committee approach at running back. That being said, White will likely only have flex appeal for the Week 6 matchup against the New Orleans Saints.

Sep 29 8:00pm CT

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White was considered questionable coming into Sunday's game due to an illness. Despite that, White suited up and had a decent day on the ground. He rushed 10 times for 49 yards while hauling in two receptions for an additional 35 yards through the air. The biggest problem for White is that fellow back Bucky Irving continues to out-rush. White has struggled on the ground and has a result the Bucs continue giving Irving more chances and it's paying off for them. Both backs saw 10 carries each during Sunday's win over the Philadelphia Eagles. White should be considered a low-end RB2 for the Thursday night matchup against the Atlanta Falcons.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White (illness) is expected to play against the Eagles. He had a case of food poisoning, resulting in his name being added to the Bucs' injury report. Fortunately, it appears he's feeling better. White has struggled throughout the first three games of the year, running for 66 yards off 31 carries and adding 12 catches for 98 yards. Even worse, he hasn't found the end zone. With that said, despite the added involvement of Bucky Irving (hamstring), who is also in line to play in Week 4, White remains a flex option versus Philly.

Sep 28 3:40pm CT

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White (illness) was added to the injury report as questionable, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. White is in danger of missing Week 4's game against the Eagles on Sunday after a late injury designation. He will likely be a game-time call and should he miss Week 4, Bucky Irving (hamstring) would be in line for a bigger role and would be a must-start fantasy RB. But Irving himself is questionable with a hamstring injury. The Buccaneers running back situation should be monitored closely before Sunday's game against Philadelphia. White has been ceding some work in the backfield to Irving in the past weeks anyway, so this is a very fluid situation.

Sep 27 6:30pm CT

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White has failed to eclipse over 35 rushing yards through the first three games of the season. Luckily, White's ability in the receiving game has helped salvage his fantasy value. At this point, it's unclear if the Bucs are going to ride with White as the early down back. Instead, Bucky Irving could get the a majority of the rushing attempts while White works as the primary pass catcher in the backfield. Fantasy managers in high PPR leagues should still be able to get decent value from White because of his receiving ability. However, he's unlikely to have much success on the ground against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 4. White is going to fall into the low-end RB2 mix until he proves he can run the ball.

Sep 22 5:20pm CT

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White was unable to find his rhythm during Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos. This is now back-to-back duds for White who opened up the season with a bang. On Sunday, White rushed six times for 17 yards while hauling in five of his six targets for an additional 18 yards through the air. The Broncos defense did a great job of containing White throughout this contest. Fantasy managers in high PPR leagues got a decent performance from White because of all the receptions. He should continue to be an important piece of the offense which keeps him as a RB2 for next week's matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Sep 20 5:40pm CT

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White (groin) was upgraded to a full practice participant on Friday and was removed from the final Week 3 injury report. White will be active on Sunday versus the visiting Denver Broncos despite suffering a groin injury in the Week 2 win over the Detroit Lions. He was limited in the first two practices this week before upgrading to full on Friday. The 25-year-old's poor performance through two weeks of the 2024 season and the fact he's coming off an injury don't really make him an all that attractive RB2, with the possibility that backup Bucky Irving could get more work this weekend. White has averaged a weak 2.0 yards per carry on his 25 rushing attempts (49 yards) through the first two games. The good news is that White is facing a Broncos defense that was terrible against the run last year, and they've allowed the 11th-most half-PPR points to RBs so far in 2024.

Sep 20 1:00pm CT

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White (groin) was seen practicing on Friday in the portion open to the media. White injured his groin in the Week 2 victory over the Detroit Lions and was able to put in limited practices on both Wednesday and Thursday. Unless he was a full participant in Friday's session, White could be listed as questionable heading into Sunday's contest against the visiting Denver Broncos, but all signs point to him being available to play. If the 25-year-old is active, he'll be looking for more production in a good matchup against the 0-2 Broncos after averaging just 2.0 yards per carry on 25 rushing attempts through the first two weeks of the season. White is lining up as an RB2 for fantasy managers against a Broncos run D that was pretty suspect last year. If White is limited at all, it would mean more work for backup Bucky Irving.

Sep 19 5:40pm CT

For the second straight day, Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White (groin) had his practice repetitions limited on Thursday after he picked up a groin injury in the Week 2 win over the Detroit Lions. White finished last Sunday's contest with only 10 carries for 18 yards while catching his only target for a five-yard gain. Fantasy managers haven't liked what they've seen from him through two weeks, as White is averaging a paltry 2.0 yards per carry with 49 total rushing yards on 25 carries. He's added seven receptions for 80 yards, though. The good news is that the 25-year-old should be fine to play in Week 3 at home against the Denver Broncos, a defense that has allowed the 11th-most half-PPR fantasy points to RBs per game through two weeks. If White is given the green light to play this Sunday, which he should, he will be in play as an RB2 in fantasy.

Sep 18 12:20pm CT

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White (groin) was at the team's practice on Wednesday, but FOX Sports' Greg Auman said that it was hard to measure his participation level, although he seemed to be OK. White suffered a groin injury in the Week 2 win over the Detroit Lions but did go back into the game, which would seem to indicate that the injury isn't very serious. As long as White doesn't have any setbacks in practice this week, fantasy managers should feel pretty comfortable that he will suit up for a good matchup at home in Week 3 this Sunday against the 0-2 Denver Broncos. The 25-year-old couldn't get anything going against Detroit, carrying the ball only 10 times for 18 yards while catching one pass for five yards. If he plays this Sunday, White will be hoping to turn things around after averaging a measly 2.0 yards per carry through the first two weeks of the season.

Sep 16 11:00am CT

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White (groin) left Sunday's 20-16 win over the Detroit Lions. The former Arizona State star played 71% of the snaps, totaling 10 rushing attempts for 18 yards in Week 2 after a slightly disappointing opening week performance. Thankfully, the third-year running back avoided a significant injury. Fantasy players should check with the Buccaneers' practice report throughout the week to ensure White is on track to play Sunday against the Denver Broncos. If the star running back has to miss a game with the injury, Bucky Irving would see the majority of the work out of the backfield, making him a top-20 running back in Week 3. However, nothing suggests that White won't be able to suit up against the Broncos.

From RotoBaller

Sep 15 5:00pm CT

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White failed to do much damage during the Week 2 matchup against the Detroit Lions. White was forced to exit early in the first quarter due to a groin issue. Luckily, White was only out for a few plays, but fantasy managers wouldn't even notice that he came back. The former third-round pick rushed 10 times for 18 yards while hauling in one reception for five yards in the win. It was a bad day for White who was outrushed by fellow back Bucky Irving and even quarterback Baker Mayfield. Fantasy managers shouldn't be too worried as White will get a favorable matchup against the Denver Broncos next week. He should be able to bounce back there and hopefully this was a fluke.

From RotoBaller

Sep 15 3:30pm CT

Tampa Bay's RB Rachaad White averaged a dismal 1.8 yards per carry on 10 attempts in Sunday's win in Detroit.

Sep 15 1:10pm CT

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White (groin) returned to Sunday's meeting with the Detroit Lions. He exited the contest briefly due to a groin issue and was listed as questionable to return. However, while it's good to see White back on the field, fantasy managers shouldn't be surprised to see him receive a reduced workload, with Bucky Irving potentially in line to see more work for the remainder of Week 2. There's also a good chance White appears on the injury report ahead of Tampa's Week 3 clash with the Denver Broncos, meaning fantasy managers should plan in advance.

From RotoBaller

Sep 15 12:40pm CT

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White (groin) is questionable to return to Sunday's matchup with the Detroit Lions. It's a tough blow for fantasy managers, considering the injury came early in the contest. He'll finish the game with three carries for 12 yards if he can't return. At any rate, there should be an update on White's condition soon. In the meantime, Bucky Irving should handle most of the snaps out of the backfield.

From RotoBaller

Sep 12 4:50pm CT

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White struggled to find much room to run during the season opener. White rushed the ball 15 times, but managed only 31 yards on the ground during the win over the Washington Commanders. Luckily, White was able to salvage his fantasy value with six receptions for 75 yards through the air. Rookie back Bucky Irving was more efficient on the ground, but White should remain the workhorse back for now. It won't get any easier for White against the Detroit Lions in Week 2. A defense that allowed the second-fewest rushing yards last season. The good news is that White is heavily used in the passing game. That being said, White should be fine to plug in as a RB2 in PPR formats.

Sep 8 11:13pm CT

Dynasty | Bucs rookie running back Bucky Irving had 62 yards rushing, two catches, and 14 receiving yards in Tampa Bay's season-opening win against Washington. Dynasty Analysis: Rumors have been swirling about Irving eating into Rachaad White's workload this year and today's performance won't exactly throw cold water on that notion. Irving looked shifty and spry on the day and routinely made players miss throughout the contest. While White (15 carries) is going to remain option 1A, a few more performances like this could create a true timeshare in Tampa Bay. Irving is a solid rookie hold at the moment as he looks like a player who could pay quick dividends in dynasty leagues.

From Dynasty League Fantasy

Sep 8 8:00pm CT

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White was heavily involved in the offense during Sunday's Week 1 matchup against the Washington Commanders. The 25-year-old continued to be the workhorse back in this one. He rushed 15 times for 31 yards as White couldn't get anything going on the ground. Luckily, White was able to salvage his fantasy value with six receptions for 75 yards through the air. His struggles on the ground are a concern, but not too alarming considering how well he does as a receiver. White should continue being a significant part of this offense going forward. Fantasy managers in PPR formats should be able to plug White in as a RB2 for Week 2 against the Detroit Lions.

From RotoBaller

Sep 5 6:40pm CT

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White is coming off a breakout campaign with the organization in 2023. He racked up 1,539 scrimmage yards as White has proven himself to be a reliable option in both the running and receiving game. The Bucs added Bucky Irving in the fourth-round of this year's draft. However, there's no one really challenging White as he's the clear cut lead back heading into the regular season. He'll kick off the season with a favorable matchup against the Washington Commanders. A defensive unit that got torched for 19 touchdowns to opposing running backs last season. White should once again be an important piece in this offense with little changes being made on the offensive side of the ball. Fantasy managers should feel comfortable plugging White in as their RB2 for Week 1.
