Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love (groin) was good to go to play in Week 9 after two limited practices and a questionable tag, but he was lackluster in the Packers' 24-14 loss at home to the Detroit Lions. Love was 23-of-39 passing for 273 yards, but did not throw a touchdown pass for the first time this season and threw an interception which led to a return for a touchdown by Kerby Joseph that broke the game open at the end of the first half. While Love was not sacked, he was pressured from the jump by the Lions' defense and fumbled the ball three times, but he didn't turn the ball over on those instances. The Packers get their bye at a great time as Love can rest up during Week 10 before heading to take on their oldest rival, the Chicago Bears, in Week 11. A healthy Love is still in the fantasy QB1 conversation despite Week 9's misstep.
From RotoBaller
Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love (groin) is officially active for Week 9 against the Detroit Lions. He had been listed as questionable after logging two consecutive limited practices. While Love is going to start, the Packers are expected to be cautious with him, which means they'll monitor his pain levels and performance throughout the duration of Sunday's game. In the event that he can't finish the game, Malik Willis would be next in line at the quarterback position. Between his injury, a tough matchup against the Lions, and some rainy conditions in Green Bay, Love drops to the QB2 tier in fantasy football this week.
From RotoBaller
Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love (groin) is expected to start in Sunday's game against the Lions. However, Jay Glazer of Fox Sports reported that the team will monitor the signal-caller throughout the contest. If Love begins to show any signs of discomfort related to the groin strain suffered in Week 8 against the Jaguars, he'll be pulled, opening the door for Malik Willis to take over under center. While fantasy managers were certainly thrilled to hear the news regarding Love's availability in Week 9, he'll remain a risky option, considering he could be pulled at any point during the game.
From RotoBaller
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love (groin) is expected to play (and start) in Sunday's NFC North showdown with the Lions. The signal-caller injured his groin in the Week 8 matchup with Jacksonville, ending his day prematurely. While there were reports indicating that the injury wasn't as serious as initially believed, he didn't practice on Wednesday before logging limited sessions on Thursday and Friday. Fortunately, all signs are pointing toward his availability for the pivotal matchup, barring a setback. Without question, Love's anticipated participation in Sunday's contest is great news for fantasy managers. However, he has been mediocre versus Detroit over the years, throwing for 648 yards, five touchdowns, and four interceptions while completing 64.7% of his attempts. Granted, Love is still a must-start, but fantasy managers may not see him at his best, especially since he may have lingering issues related to the injury.
From RotoBaller
According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL, Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love (groin) expects to play on Sunday when the team hosts their division-rival Detroit Lions. Per Rapoport, there have been no setbacks in Love's recovery from a groin injury he suffered in Week 8, and barring something unforeseen, he's tracking to play in the pivotal Week 9 matchup. It's excellent news for the Pack, who, at 6-2, can take control of the NFC North with a win over their 6-1 rivals. Fantasy managers will still want to monitor Love's status ahead of Sunday, as even if the 26-year-old plays, Green Bay could lean on running back Josh Jacobs a smidge more than usual.
From RotoBaller
According to head coach Matt LaFleur, Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love (groin) is officially questionable for the team's Week 9 contest against the Detroit Lions. Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reported the news. The fifth-year QB was knocked out of Week 8's 30-27 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars after halftime with a groin injury but appears to be recovering well. It's excellent news for Green Bay, as Love opened the week tagged with a DNP, but things are looking up regarding his status for Sunday's divisional clash against Detroit. Fantasy managers will want to monitor the 25-year-old, as Green Bay's game plan could be more run-centric in his absence. If the Utah State product can't suit up, it will again be quarterback Malik Willis calling signals for the Pack in what's sure to be an exciting Week 9 matchup.
From RotoBaller
Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love (groin) returned to practice on Thursday after sitting out on Wednesday due to a groin injury. The 25-year-old second-year starter was banged up in the Week 8 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars and did not finish out the contest. However, his availability on Thursday is a great sign of his potential to play in Week 9 against the Detroit Lions. Sunday's NFC North contest is crucial, so it would be somewhat surprising if he does not play. However, Malik Willis, who has looked good in relief of Love this year, would draw the start if Love can't go. The Lions have allowed the 14th-most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks this season, so Love is a solid low-end QB1 option if he's cleared for Week 9.
From RotoBaller
Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love (groin) missed Wednesday's practice due to a groin strain. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Love sees a "realistic chance" of suiting up on Sunday against the Detroit Lions despite missing practice on Wednesday. The 25-year-old exited last Sunday's 30-27 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars early with a groin strain and is labeled day-to-day. He has been terrific this season, throwing for 1,547 yards, 15 touchdowns, and nine interceptions while rushing for 28 yards on 10 attempts over six games. Love will try to practice later in the week and look to play in a divisional battle against Detroit. Malik Willis would start for Green Bay if Love is inactive. Fantasy managers should continue monitoring Love's status heading into Week 9. Love is currently QB10 in the latest RotoBaller Week 9 rankings and is a must-start if active in a plus matchup against the Lions.
From RotoBaller
According to the NFL's Ian Rapoport, Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love (groin) got "pretty good news" regarding his MRI and has a shot to play in Sunday's divisional clash against the Detroit Lions. While nothing has yet been confirmed, Rapoport reports that Love's MRI came back "relatively clean," and he is day-to-day with a groin strain. "He is determined to play," said the NFL Insider. "He does not need to be 100% to play; that makes me believe he has a really good chance." It's excellent news for Green Bay, though; if they had to turn to backup quarterback Malik Willis, it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. Willis has performed well when called upon this season, although his drawing the start would be a downgrade for Packers' pass-catchers. Keep an eye on Love's practice participation this week, as that should give us a better idea of his availability for the outing. However, it's possible a decision won't be made until much closer to game time. Green Bay and Detroit square off at 4:25 ET.
From RotoBaller
Per Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, there is optimism around Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love's (groin) status for this Sunday, and he is considered day-to-day. Love underwent an MRI on Monday, confirming he escaped Sunday's victory having avoided a long-term injury. It's excellent news for Green Bay, as the 25-year-old remained in Week 8's 30-27 win over the Jaguars even after initially tweaking his groin. Still, his status for Week 9 remains to be determined. Fantasy managers will want to monitor this situation, as the Packers' game plan could change with third-year QB Malik Willis under center -- particularly the potential for a more run-centric attack. Green Bay will host their division-rival Detroit Lions this Sunday -- one of the more staunch defensive units in the league.
From RotoBaller
Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love (groin) was forced to leave their game against the Jacksonville Jaguars with a groin injury and did not return. According to Ian Rapoport, the star QB seemed to avoid a major injury but his status for the Week 9 game against the Detroit Lions is "in doubt." The Packers go into their bye in Week 10, so they could play it safe to give him an extra week of rest before returning in Week 11. If that's the case Malik Willis would make another start against a strong Lions defense.
From RotoBaller
Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love (groin) exited Sunday's game against the Jaguars. He injured his groin early in the contest but managed to play through it. However, it eventually caused his premature departure from the contest. Of course, head coach Matt LaFleur expressed concern over the injury. But NFL Media's Tom Pelissero reported that the team is optimistic Love "avoided a long-term injury." He'll undergo further testing on Monday. But if he can't suit up against the Lions, Malik Willis will take over.
From RotoBaller
Dynasty | Jordan Love was forced from Sunday's win against Jacksonville with a groin injury. Dynasty Analysis: Love stayed on the sidelines and while this doesn't have the look of a serious, long-term issue, groin injuries are notoriously tricky to manage. Love was just 14-of-22 for 196 yards with no touchdowns and one interception prior to leaving. Love has had an up and down season and now has 15 touchdowns and nine interceptions on the year, making him a bit of a fantasy disappointment. Managers will be watching the news closely over the next couple of days to see what kind of severity we're looking at.
Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love (groin) will undergo further testing on Monday. The signal-caller injured his groin in Sunday's win over the Jags, and he'd finish the day by throwing for 196 yards and a pick off 14-for-22 passing. Considering Love has battled an injury already this season, any more absences wouldn't be an ideal scenario for fantasy managers. With that in mind, if Love can't go for the NFC North clash with the Lions, Malik Willis would operate under center. Of course, Willis isn't nearly as reliable, so he'd be hard to trust from a fantasy standpoint.
From RotoBaller
Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love (groin) exited during the second quarter of Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars and is officially questionable to return. Love appeared to suffer the injury after attempting a pass. He was unable to shake off the injury and went to the ground, summoning attention from medical personnel. At the time of his departure, Love had completed 14 of 22 passes for 196 yards, zero touchdowns, and one interception. Malik Willis has taken over as the Packers' quarterback and will remain under center for the duration of Love's absence. Willis impressed during a two-game, turnover-free stretch of football between Weeks 2 and 3.
From RotoBaller
Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love has been a consistent force this season for the Packers, and he looks to keep his strong run going when he and the Packers travel to Jacksonville to take on the Jaguars in Week 8. Love has thrown multiple touchdown passes in all five games he's played this season. The Jaguars have allowed the most touchdown passes (16) this season, so Love and this Jaguars defense could be a match made in heaven this week. With the sheet number of weapons at his disposal, Love should have little trouble producing fantasy value in Week 8. Consider Love a must-start QB1 in fantasy leagues in this matchup.
From RotoBaller
Dynasty | Packers quarterback Jordan Love completed 24-of-33 passes for 220 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions in a win against Houston. Dynasty Analysis: Love has had an odd season thus far as he's thrown for 15 touchdowns (good) and eight interceptions (bad) in his five games this year. When you consider Love threw just 11 interceptions last season in 17 games, this is at least a mild concern. While dynasty managers shouldn't panic at this point, a few clean games from Love would certainly put some minds at ease. He remains a dynasty QB1 and solid player to build around at the moment.
Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love tossed three touchdown scores for most of the Packers' scoring on the afternoon as the Packers' edged the Texans 24-22 in Week 7. Love had an up-and-down game with 24-of-33 passing for 220 yards with three touchdown passes and two interceptions. A touchdown pass to Tucker Kraft kicked off the scoring on a beautiful diving play. Minutes later, Love found Dontayvion Wicks for a 30-yard touchdown with a perfect touch pass over the top. The final touchdown pass was Josh Jacobs' first receiving touchdown of his career; an eight-yard dump-off. Love was very good for fantasy production on the afternoon as he continued his streak of multiple-touchdown games in all five games Love has played this season. The Packers head south to Jacksonville to face the Jaguars, where Love will be a locked-in QB1 for that pristine matchup in Week 8.
From RotoBaller
Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love looks to keep his strong run of fantasy production going as the Packers host the Houston Texans in Week 7. Since returning to the Packers' lineup in Week 5, Love has had two QB3-or-better performances under his belt and has tossed multiple touchdown passes in every game he's played this season. With the Texans being a bit of a pass-funnel defense, Love should have plenty of time to connect with his pass-catching weapons and get some volume as well. With both offenses having the potential for plenty of passing, Love should be considered among the top handful of fantasy options at the position heading into Week 7.
From RotoBaller
Packers' QB Jordan Love scored 29.20 fantasy points in Sunday's Week 6 win against the Cardinals. Love threw for 258 yards on 22-of-32 with four touchdowns and one interception. It's the 2nd time this season Love scored at least 25 fantasy points in a game.
