Seahawks' QB Geno Smith scored 28.75 fantasy points in Sunday's Week 9 loss against the Rams. Smith threw for 363 yards on 21-of-34 with three touchdowns and three interceptions including a pick-6 .
Seattle Seahawks WR Geno Smith completed 21-of-34 passes for 363 yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions in Week 9 against the Los Angeles Rams, and he ran six times for 16 yards. He also fumbled once, but was able to recover it.
Fantasy Spin: Smith is the NFL's league leader in passing yardage per game, and he has multiple touchdown strikes in two of the past three games. Smith has had four 300-yard games this season, including two in the past four outings. He has been flirting with low-end QB1 or high-end QB2 fantasy status for most of the season. He and the Seahawks are off on a bye in Week 10, however.
From TheHuddle
Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith struggled once again in Week 9 against the Los Angeles Rams. Without his top target in DK Metcalf (knee) for a second straight week, Smith threw three interceptions. He did continue his high-end passing yardage output and he threw multiple touchdowns in a game for just the second time this season. Despite the interceptions, Smith likely did not sink your fantasy team in Week 9. Due to a solid rushing baseline, Smith continues to be a useable asset in fantasy. Smith did find his footing towards the end of this game when he was able to find wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba on a game-tying drive in the fourth quarter. Nobody seems to need Seattle's Week 10 bye more than Smith who clearly needs Metcalf back in the lineup. Hopefully, things will improve for Smith and Seattle's offense come Week 11.
From RotoBaller
Seattle Seahawks' QB Geno Smith passed for 363 yards on 21-of-34 with three touchdowns in Sunday's game against the Rams. He did throw three interceptions including a pick-6 in the loss.
Seattle Seahawks QB Geno Smith was fined $11,255 by the National Football League for committing unsportsmanlike conduct and taunting in Week 8's game against the Buffalo Bills. He tossed the ball at DE Dawuane Smoot following a play because he was upset over a hit from CB Taron Johnson.
From TheHuddle
Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith checks in as a player you can play in a pinch once again in Week 9. The Seahawks will host the Los Angeles Rams who are No. 15 against opposing quarterbacks in fantasy. This matchup is about as middle-of-the-pack as they come. Smith currently leads the NFL in passing yards. Unfortunately, we got a good look at life without wide receiver DK Metcalf (knee) in Week 8 against the Buffalo Bills and it was not pretty. Smith was limited to 212 yards and an interception. The Seahawks actually moved the ball relatively well in the first half, but they fell apart in the second half. The Rams should have no problem scoring on the Seahawks defense so Seattle will likely need to put the ball in the air. The volume will be there for Smith, but the question is whether or not the Seahawks will be effective without Metcalf who is slated to miss his second straight game. For those reasons, Smith will be a QB2 with upside this week. However, he has a great chance to throw for over 300 yards and a couple of touchdowns if the offense has adjusted to life without Metcalf.
From RotoBaller
Seattle Seahawks QB Geno Smith leads the NFL with 2,197 passing yards and 274.6 passing yards per game.
Fantasy Spin: Smith has thrown for more than 280 yards in five of his eight games, but he has thrown just eight touchdowns compared to seven interceptions. The steady yardage totals give Smith a decent floor, but he will need to find the end zone more often to be more than a QB2.
From TheHuddle
Seattle Seahawks QB Geno Smith completed 21 of his 29 passes for 212 yards and an interception and rushed for 16 yards in a 31-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 8.
From TheHuddle
Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith had a rough day at the office in Week 8 against the Buffalo Bills. With top wide receiver DK Metcalf (knee) out of the lineup, Smith and the Seahawks offense as a whole struggled to get anything going. Smith continued to be accurate (72% completion percentage), but he failed to throw a touchdown for the first time this season. Smith and the Seahawks seemed to be building offensive momentum after a great Week 7 in Atlanta, but that came crashing down in Week 8. Overall, the game was a mess for the Seahawks as they lost 31 to 10. Luckily, Metcalf's injury is not serious and he could return as soon as Week 9 against the Los Angeles Rams. Either way, expect Smith to have a better day next week against a softer defense.
Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith has been a solid quarterback streaming option in 2024. He should deliver solid value again in Week 8 against the Buffalo Bills, but you should temper expectations with DK Metcalf (knee) unlikely to play in this game. The Bills are also an absolute run-funnel. Teams have been able to run on them with ease which suggests this could be a big Kenneth Walker III (illness) day. Even so, they are relatively unproven as a pass defense. They have not faced a passing attack as voluminous and high-powered as the Seahawks in 2024. Still, any quarterback without a stud such as Metcalf in the lineup would experience a downgrade against most opponents. Smith is still a quality option this week but consider making other arrangements if your roster can handle it.
Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith finally threw for more than one touchdown in a game in Sunday's win over the Atlanta Falcons. The Seahawks dominated this game from the second quarter on. Smith finished the game with 207 passing yards and two touchdowns. Most importantly, Smith avoided throwing interceptions after throwing five in his previous four games. The game was encouraging for fantasy managers. Smith had been a solid streaming option for much of the season, however, it felt like there were a lot of plays left on the field. Week 7 helped change that narrative as the Seahawks' offense and defense worked in conjunction on the way to a great win. Hopefully, Smith can keep this momentum rolling in Week 8 against the Buffalo Bills.
From RotoBaller
Seattle Seahawks QB Geno Smith went 18-for-28 for 207 yards and two touchdowns against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 7. He also rushed for 15 yards on four carries during the game.
Fantasy Spin: Smith did not throw for as many yards as he usually does but did throw multiple touchdowns for the first time this season. He will be facing a good Buffalo Bills defense next week but could be a low-end No. 1 quarterback in some deeper leagues.
From TheHuddle
Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith is in position for another monster game in Week 7. Smith enters Week 7 against the Atlanta Falcons as the QB7 in fantasy. He has thrown for at least 284 yards in every game but one this season and he has thrown for over 300 yards in three of six games. Atlanta is No. 18 against opposing quarterbacks in fantasy so they do not present the biggest challenge. Smith's issue this year has been his lack of touchdown passes. He has only thrown one in each week. The Falcons have hit their stride on offense and should have no issue scoring on a banged-up Seahawks defense. As such, the Seahawks are likely going to have to air it out to keep up in this game. With a full complement of weapons around him, Smith should have no problem reaching his recent heights. He is an excellent streaming option this week, especially with top quarterbacks such as Kyler Murray and Patrick Mahomes struggling in fantasy in 2024.

Dynasty | Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith completed 30-of-52 passes for 312 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions in a loss against the 49ers. Dynasty Analysis: The game line looks fine, but Smith did most of his damage with the game already out of reach. Smith, now 34, has 1,778 passing yards with six touchdowns and six interceptions on the season. Considering the fact he's posted a 50/20 touchdown-to-interception ratio over the past two seasons, this is concerning. Seattle is likely not looking to Sam Howell any time soon, but a few more losses could put Geno's job on the hot seat. He looks like a fading hold in dynasty leagues at the moment and nothing more than a QB2 or bye-week fill-in at the moment.
Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith had a rough outing on Thursday against the San Francisco 49ers. Smith threw for 312 yards and continued his 2024 trend of throwing for exactly one touchdown. However, he threw two costly interceptions as the Seahawks were unable to keep pace with a 49ers team that was opportunistic on turnovers throughout the game. The outing was disappointing for Smith as he was coming off two straight games with at least 22.56 fantasy points. However, Smith has now thrown for at least 312 yards in three of six games in 2024. At some point, the touchdown numbers should increase. Unfortunately, the Seahawks find themselves in a rut as they have lost three straight games. Smith often plays better when the Seahawks can play with a lead, which has not been the case lately. Hopefully, Smith can get back on track in Week 7 against the Atlanta Falcons.
From RotoBaller
Seattle Seahawks QB Geno Smith completed 30 of his 52 passes for 312 yards, 1 touchdown, and 2 interceptions in a Week 6 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
Fantasy Spin: Outside of his two interceptions, both of which came on poor decisions, Smith played well against the 49ers. He came within inches of connecting with DK Metcalf for a touchdown before halftime, and then had a TD to Metcalf called back on an illegal motion penalty. Unfortunately, close doesn't cut it for fantasy owners, and Smith, despite attempting more than 250 passes this season, has thrown just one TD in each of his six games. That's QB2 production. While his high usage makes him someone you can roll the dice on as needed, thus far he isn't delivering.
From TheHuddle
Seahawks' QB Geno Smith passed for 312 yards on 30-of-52 with one touchdown in Thursday's game against the 49ers. He did throw two interceptions in the loss.
Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith is a solid streaming option in Week 6 when the Seahawks host the San Francisco 49ers. The 49ers are 14th against opposing quarterbacks in fantasy in 2024. Smith has been very consistent in 2024 and has thrown for 1,466 yards and five touchdowns. He is coming off back-to-back games with at least 21.6 fantasy points and has a good chance to clear that number again in Week 6. With the Seahawks passing offense clicking in recent weeks, they should be able to put pressure on a 49ers defense that has not been as good as in years past. While this is not a huge bye week for fantasy-relevant quarterbacks, Metcalf could still fill in for any fantasy managers nursing injuries or underperformance at the position.
From RotoBaller
Seahawks' QB Geno Smith scored 25.40 fantasy points in Sunday's Week 5 loss against the Giants. Smith threw for 284 yards on 28-of-40 with one touchdown.
Seattle Seahawks QB Geno Smith completed 28-of-40 passes for 284 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions in Week 5 against the New York Giants, while running four times for a team-high 72 yards.
Fantasy Spin: Smith has thrown for 284 or more yards in four straight games, with exactly one touchdown throw in each of his first five outings. He isn't a great fantasy option, but he puts up healthy passing yardage totals with occasional decent rushing totals. If you need a bye-week replacement in fantasy leagues, Smith isn't a bad streaming option.
