San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle amplified his dominance at the fantasy tight end position during a 36-24 Thursday night victory in Seattle. The two-time First-team All-Pro caught five of six targets for 58 yards and two touchdowns. Kittle now has five touchdowns in his last four games and is averaging 14.5 points per game in Yahoo default scoring, while second place is held by Dallas Goedert and Brock Bowers at 10.5. That's the widest margin between two consecutively ranked players in the entire tight-end landscape. Kittle has had similar stretches during his career and he's always been streaky, so fantasy managers who have been propelled by Kittle to early winning records may consider selling high to win-desperate teams. Kittle and the Niners will face the Kansas City Chiefs at home in a Week 7 Super Bowl LVIII rematch.

Oct 11 12:43am CT

San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle caught five passes for 58 yards and a pair of touchdowns in Week 6 against the Seattle Seahawks. Kittle was targeted a team-high six times.

Fantasy Spin: Make it four consecutive games with a touchdown for Kittle, who has been on the receiving end of five of Brock Purdy's nine scoring strikes this season. Despite missing a game, the veteran has been one of the most productive tight ends for fantasy owners amid what has been a largely disappointing year from the usual top names. He's a must-start TE1 whenever he's healthy enough to play.

From TheHuddle

Oct 9 5:13pm CT

San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle (ribs) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Oct. 9, and is not on the injury report for Week 6.

Fantasy Spin: Kittle should receive his normal workload this week against the Seattle Seahawks and can be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Oct 9 4:00pm CT

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle (ribs) is good to go on Thursday night, according to Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network. Kittle was a limited participant during the first two practice sessions of the week but was able to upgrade to full participation on Wednesday. The 31-year-old should be locked into all starting lineups as he faces a Seattle defense that has allowed the 19th-most points to opposing tight ends. Kittle has found the end zone in each of the past three games he has played in and averaged 61.7 yards and 6.3 receptions during this span. He should be viewed as a TE1 and should also be considered as a solid flex option in all DFS formats on Thursday evening.

From RotoBaller

Oct 8 5:20pm CT

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle (ribs) was listed as a limited participant in practice for the second straight day this week on Tuesday. Kittle missed the Week 3 contest with a hamstring injury but returned in Week 4, only to suffer an injury to his ribs. He played through his rib injury in the Week 5 loss to the division-rival Arizona Cardinals and caught a season-high eight passes (12 targets) for 64 yards and a touchdown. Kittle will most likely be removed from the final Week 6 injury report on Wednesday and be fine to play on Thursday night against the division-rival Seattle Seahawks, where he'll be a must-start TE1 in fantasy. Despite missing Week 3 due to injury, Kittle has managed to find paydirt in each of the last three games that he's played in, going for 19 catches and 185 yards on 24 targets.

Oct 8 4:23pm CT

San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle (ribs) was listed as a limited participant at practice Tuesday, Oct. 8. The 49ers held a walkthrough so his participation level is an estimation.

Fantasy Spin: Kittle should be good to go for Thursday night after he played through this injury last week. As long as he's active, he's a starter in fantasy lineups.

From TheHuddle

Oct 8 4:03pm CT

San Francisco 49ers Talanoa Hufanga (wrist), LB Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles (calf), PK Jake Moody (ankle) and DT Jordan Elliott (knee) did not practice on Tuesday, Oct. 8. CB Charvarius Ward (knee), WR Chris Conley (oblique), TE George Kittle (ribs), LB Fred Warner (ankle) and S Ji'Ayir Brown (ankle) were limited. WR Jacob Cowing (shoulder) practiced in full. The 49ers held a walk-through on Tuesday, so the report is an estimation.

Oct 7 9:10pm CT

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle (ribs) is still listed on the team's injury report on a short week with a divisional matchup coming on Thursday night on the road at Lumen Field against the Seattle Seahawks. Although the Niners didn't practice on Monday, they listed Kittle as limited on their estimated practice report. Kittle suffered a rib injury in Week 4 but played through the injury in the Week 5 loss to the division-rival Arizona Cardinals and was no worse for the wear, catching eight pass on 12 targets for 64 yards and a touchdown. The 30-year-old missed Week 3 with a hamstring injury but has caught a touchdown pass in each of his last three games. He should be fine to suit up this Thursday and will be a must-start TE1 for fantasy managers after seeing a season-high 12 targets against the Cardinals.

From RotoBaller

Oct 7 7:53pm CT

San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle (ribs) was limited during practice Monday, Oct. 7. The 49ers did not hold a practice Monday, so this is an estimation.

Fantasy Spin: Kittle was able to play in Week 5 despite the injury and should be on the field again this week. He is one of the more reliable tight ends in fantasy and should be a starting option in all leagues.

From TheHuddle

Oct 7 1:00am CT

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle continued his hot streak by putting up 16.4 half-PPR points on Sunday, but it wasn't enough to avoid a 24-23 home loss to the Arizona Cardinals. The colorful former Hawkeye hauled in eight of a co-team-high 12 targets for 64 yards and a touchdown. Kittle's day could have been even better if he had caught a tough first-quarter red-zone target and avoided an unforced drop on a 14-yard target later on. Historically, Kittle has been boom-or-bust but his fantasy production has been steady this year, averaging 13 half-PPR points per game with a low of six points, which came in Week 1. Kittle will be a top choice at tight end in Week 6 when the 49ers face the Seahawks in Seattle on Thursday Night Football.

From RotoBaller

Oct 6 9:43pm CT

San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle ended up with eight receptions for 64 yards and a touchdown on 12 targets in Week 5 against the Arizona Cardinals.

Fantasy Spin: Kittle has managed at least four catches in four outings, and he has scored a touchdown in each of his past three games. He was forced to miss Week 3 due to injury, but when he is healthy, he is easily one of the best fantasy tight ends in the game.

From TheHuddle

Oct 6 2:00pm CT

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle (ribs) is active for the Week 5 contest against the Arizona Cardinals. It looks like the rib injury isn't bad enough to keep him out of this one, so the TE2 on the season has the green light to go up against a defense that hasn't looked too great lately. While they've only given up an average of 5.8 fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends, the 49ers have all of their pass-catchers available which should create room for Kittle to find open space. Kittle remains a must-start that has TE1 potential every time he's on the field.

From RotoBaller

Oct 6 1:43pm CT

San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle (ribs) is officially active for the Week 5 game.

Fantasy Spin: Kittle did not do much during practice this week but should still see a good amount of targets during the game. He can be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Oct 6 8:53am CT

San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle (rib) is expected to play in Week 5's game against the Arizona Cardinals, according to a source.

Fantasy Spin: Kittle was listed as questionable on the injury report after participating in just one of the team's three practice sessions during the week on a limited basis. If he is declared active, he should be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Oct 6 7:20am CT

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle (ribs) is expected to play against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 5 despite being listed as questionable, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Kittle had been limited in practice but is trending toward playing Sunday, just one week after an impressive showing against the New England Patriots in which he caught four passes for 45 yards and one touchdown. The 30-year-old is one of the NFL's best tight ends and should be deployed as a high-end fantasy TE1, even against an Arizona Cardinals defense that has performed better than expected so far this season.

From RotoBaller

Oct 4 5:13pm CT

San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle (ribs) was limited during practice Friday, Oct. 4, and is listed as questionable for Week 5.

Fantasy Spin: Kittle missed two of the three practices leading up to the game, so he could be a game-time decision this week. He is a weekly starting option when healthy, but fantasy players will need other option available in case he is ruled out.

From TheHuddle

Oct 4 4:10pm CT

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle (ribs) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game, according to Nick Wagoner of ESPN. Kittle did not practice earlier in the week but was seen at Friday's practice, which is a good sign. Fantasy managers should monitor the star tight end's status over the weekend. Kittle was sidelined during Week 3 with a hamstring injury and is now in danger of missing his second game of the young season. Through the three games he has played in, the 30-year-old has caught at least four passes in each of them and found the end zone in two. If Kittle suits up, he should be viewed as a high-end TE1. If not, fantasy managers should expect Deebo Samuel Sr. and Brandon Aiyuk to see an increase in targets.

From RotoBaller

Oct 3 6:13pm CT

San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle (ribs) did not participate in practice Thursday, Oct. 3.

Fantasy Spin: Fantasy players will need to monitor the situation to see if Kittle will be available for the Week 5 game. He is a weekly starting option when healthy, but players will need a backup plan ready in case he is ruled out.

From TheHuddle

Oct 3 5:10pm CT

For the second straight day this week, San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle (ribs) was not participating in practice on Thursday. Kittle was seen in full gear on a side field. Kittle missed Week 3 with a hamstring injury but returned in the Week 4 win over the New England Patriots and caught a touchdown pass, but two DNPs to begin the week put him back up in the air to suit up for a Week 5 tilt against the division-rival Arizona Cardinals. The 30-year-old is probably going to need to put in some work at practice on Friday to have a shot at playing this weekend. It's a bit surprising that he has missed two practices after head coach Kyle Shanahan called him day-to-day earlier in the week. If Kittle is active, he's a must-start TE1 in fantasy. If he's limited or out, tight end Eric Saubert would have a bigger role again, although that led to just two catches for 41 yards in Week 3 when Kittle was sidelined. Check back on Friday for Kittle's designation for Week 5.

From RotoBaller

Oct 2 6:53pm CT

San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle (ribs) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 2.

Fantasy Spin: Kittle probably will be able to practice later in the week and should be available for the Week 5 game. He can be a starting option in all fantasy leagues if active.
