Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert will go on the road to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 4. The 29-year-old had the best receiving performance of his career last weekend, nabbing 10 of 11 targets for 170 yards. The Eagles were without A.J. Brown (hamstring) and lost DeVonta Smith (concussion) later in the contest, leaving the door wide open for Goedert to have a massive performance. The same could happen this week, as Smith was ruled out and Brown is currently listed as questionable. If both miss, the veteran tight end becomes the immediate top target for quarterback Jalen Hurts against a stiff Tampa Bay defense. While the matchup is not favorable, fantasy managers should continue to start Goedert this week with all of the injuries along the Eagles receiving corps.

Sep 24 12:00pm CT

Eagles' TE Dallas Goedert scored 27.00 fantasy points in Sunday's Week 3 win in New Orleans. Goedert caught 10 passes for 170 yards. It's the 1st time this season Goedert scored at least 25 fantasy points in a game.

Sep 22 7:10pm CT

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert caught 10 of 11 targets for 170 yards during the team's 15-12 win over the New Orleans Saints. With A.J. Brown (hamstring) out for the second consecutive week, the 29-year-old was targeted early and often in this game. Even though he was unable to find the end zone, Goedert had the longest catch of his career, going 61 yards to inside the five-yard line to set up a Saquon Barkley touchdown. DeVonta Smith (concussion) also exited this game early, leaving Goedert the top target for Jalen Hurts this week and potentially next with both star wideouts are forced to sit. This will likely be the best fantasy performance of the season for the veteran tight end, but it solidifies him as a TE1 moving forward, especially if the Eagles receivers miss more time.

Dynasty | Dallas Goedert had ten catches for 170 yards in the Eagles win against the Saints. Dynasty Analysis: The only thing Goedert from a truly historic day was the lack of a touchdown, one he almost had a long gain in the second half before being knocked out of bounds. This will likely go down as Goedert's best fantasy day of the year, but also showed he still has TE1/2 appeal in dynasty leagues. He'll attempt to keep it going next week against Tampa Bay.

From Dynasty League Fantasy

Sep 22 5:33pm CT

Philadelphia Eagles TE Dallas Goedert caught 10 passes for 170 yards against the New Orleans Saints in Week 3. He was targeted 11 times during the game.

Fantasy Spin: The Eagles are dealing with injuries at the receiver position, so Goedert was the main option in the passing game against the Saints. He should see a good amount of targets next week and can be a starting option in fantasy leagues.

Sep 22 3:30pm CT

Eagles' TE Dallas Goedert had 10 receptions for 170 yards but no touchdowns in Sunday's win in New Orleans.

Sep 20 1:10pm CT

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert will go on the road to take on the New Orleans Saints in Week 3. The 29-year-old was not heavily involved last week but saw usage during the team's final drive and has the chance to see more targets in Week 3 with A.J. Brown (hamstring) likely out for another game. The good news; Goedert played 97% of the snaps last week and is at the top of the league compared to others at the position in snaps played. He should have a safe floor this week against a Saints defense that ranks middle of the pack against the tight end position through two weeks. Unless you have an obviously better option, you can continue to roll with Goedert in Week 3.

Sep 17 8:50am CT

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert caught three of four targets for 38 yards during the team's 22-21 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. The veteran was expected to see a larger target share with star receiver A.J. Brown (hamstring) out this week, but depth receiver Britain Covey saw six targets, and backup Grant Calcaterra got involved with a couple of targets of his own. Atlanta's defense is no slouch, but this was an underwhelming fantasy performance for Goedert given the Brown injury. He will look to get more involved next week against a red-hot New Orleans Saints team.

From RotoBaller

Sep 17 12:13am CT

Philadelphia Eagles TE Dallas Goedert ended up with three catches for 38 yards on four targets in Week 2 against the Atlanta Falcons Monday, Sept. 16.

Fantasy Spin: Goedert has been limited to seven catches for 69 yards on nine targets through two games with no scores. He has been posting TE2-type numbers so far. He'll look to get on track in Week 3 in New Orleans, but he shouldn't be considered a TE1 outside of deeper leagues right now.

From TheHuddle

Sep 13 7:10pm CT

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert will take on the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football in Week 2. The veteran had a decent showing last week, catching all four of his targets for a modest 31 yards receiving. Compared to all of the other typically drafted tight ends for fantasy, that was a solid output last week. Goedert could be in for a larger workload on Monday due to star receiver A.J. Brown (hamstring) popping up on the injury report this Friday as a limited practice participant. If Brown sits or is at less than 100% on Monday, Goedert has the chance to be No. 2 in the target pecking order for quarterback Jalen Hurts. The 29-year-old is a solid starting option for fantasy managers in Week 2.

From RotoBaller

Sep 7 12:10am CT

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert had a quiet night in Friday's win over the Packers. A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, and Saquon Barkley did most of the heavy lifting on the offensive end. As a result, Goedert finished with only four grabs for 31 yards. Without question, nobody is expecting the veteran to be a top fantasy tight end in 2024-25. However, fantasy managers are still hoping he'll play better than last season, especially under new offensive coordinator Kellen Moore. At any rate, the Eagles will get some rest before getting ready for the Falcons in Week 2. Goedert isn't a viable starting option outside deep, multi-tight end formats. Yet, the upside is still there for those who may be desperate.

From RotoBaller

Sep 6 11:43pm CT

Philadelphia Eagles TE Dallas Goedert caught four of his five passes for 31 yards in a 34-29 win over the Green Bay Packers in Week 1.

Fantasy Spin: With two stud receiver on the outside and now Saquon Barkley in the backfield, Goedert could be stuck picking up the scraps all year. He doesn't offer much in the way of upside and will likely be a fringe TE1 most weeks.

From TheHuddle

Sep 4 12:20pm CT

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert will travel to Brazil to take on the Green Bay Packers in the regular season opener on Friday night. The 29-year-old suffered an oblique injury a few weeks ago, but returned to the practice field Tuesday and is slated to suit up on Friday. Goedert had a down year in 2023, finishing with his lowest fantasy point total since 2020 when he played in just 11 games. Goedert is no stranger to target competition and has been able to deliver for fantasy managers at times, but he has been an inconsistent option. After the acquisition of former Washington Commanders wide receiver Jahan Dotson a few weeks ago and the addition of running back Saquon Barkley this past offseason, Goedert is in the most crowded receiver room of his career. The veteran is a threat to score a touchdown every week as apart of the Eagles offense, but he is going to be tough to trust on a weekly basis. Fantasy managers should consider him a fringe TE1 in Week 1 against the Packers.

Sep 2 2:43pm CT

Philadelphia Eagles TE Dallas Goedert (oblique) told reporters the team was being cautious with his injury during the preseason, according to sources Monday, Sept. 2.

Fantasy Spin: Goedert is a mid-TE1 with a capped ceiling for fantasy managers to consider in the middle-to-late rounds of drafts.

Philadelphia Eagles TE Dallas Goedert (oblique) returned to practice Sunday, Sept. 1.

From TheHuddle

Sep 1 5:20pm CT

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert (oblique) was back on the practice field on Sunday. Goedert picked up the injury about two weeks ago. The 29-year-old has been eased back into activities and should be fully ready for the season opener against the Green Bay Packers. Goedert is looking to bounce back after a down year in 2023. The good news is Goedert saw 83 targets last season in a fairly loaded Philly offense. That being said, Goedert should once again be heavily involved in the offense which should make him a viable TE2.

From RotoBaller

Aug 29 1:20pm CT

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert (oblique) is not practicing again on Thursday. Goedert continues to manage an oblique injury that he sustained toward the end of training camp, and he has eight days to recover in order to be ready for the regular-season opener against the Green Bay Packers next Friday. The 29-year-old veteran tight end has settled into backend TE1 territory for fantasy managers, but he should be close to an every-down player in a juggernaut of an offense in Philadelphia in 2024. Grant Calcaterra would function as the Eagles' primary TE if Goedert's absence extends into Week 1, but that seems unlikely at the moment.

From RotoBaller

Aug 29 1:03pm CT

Philadelphia Eagles TE Dallas Goedert (oblique) remained out of practice on Thursday, Aug. 29, with an oblique issue that has bothered him since the end of training camp.

From TheHuddle

Aug 21 12:40pm CT

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert (oblique) is dealing with an oblique injury and is not suiting up for training camp practice on Wednesday. Until we know more, we'll assume the Eagles are playing it safe with Goedert with two weeks to go until the start of the 2024 regular season. The 29-year-old probably will not suit up in Saturday's preseason finale against the Minnesota Vikings. Goedert, the team's top pass-catching tight end, missed three games late last season due to a fractured forearm but still had a career-high 59 receptions for 592 yards and three touchdowns in 14 regular-season contests. However, he also had a career-low 10.0 yards per catch as the clear third passing option behind receivers A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith. With running back Saquon Barkley taking valuable targets away in the passing game in 2024, Goedert finds himself on the TE1/2 borderline.

From RotoBaller

Aug 21 9:23am CT

Philadelphia Eagles TE Dallas Goedert (oblique) is out of practice Wednesday, Aug. 21.

Fantasy Spin: Oblique injuries don't occur often in football, and it could be a troublesome thing because it can affect you in even the most subtle movements. Keep tabs on the mid-to-low TE1.
