Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley took 10 carries for 84 yards and caught two of four targets for 32 yards during the team's 33-16 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The 27-year-old had another slow start in this game but rumbled for 59 yards on the first play of the second half to set up the Eagles for their second touchdown of the day. It was a play that saved him from having a poor fantasy outing, but if this is the floor for Barkley's production as a fantasy player, then these fantasy managers are in good shape. This was a tough matchup where the Buccaneers were able to key in on the Eagles' star back due to the absence of wideouts A.J. Brown (hamstring) and DeVonta Smith (concussion) so being able to extend his 100 or more yards combined streak intact is impressive to say the least. Philadelphia was seemingly blessed with the early bye week, and the team will look to regroup and regain their top two pass catchers before their Week 6 matchup against the Cleveland Browns.

Sep 29 3:23pm CT

Philadelphia Eagles RB Saquon Barkley rushed for 84 yards on 10 carries against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 4. He also caught two passes for 32 yards during the game.

Fantasy Spin: Barkley did not receive a lot of touches this week because the team was trailing for most of the game but was still productive in his limited work. He will continue to be a big part of the offense for the Eagles and is a must-start option in all fantasy leagues.

Sep 27 7:10pm CT

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley will face off against the Buccaneers in Tampa Bay in Week 4. The 27-year-old is coming off of a great game in which he carried the Eagles to victory over the New Orleans Saints, scoring two touchdowns on 21 touches and tallying over 150 yards. The Tampa Bay defense is no slouch against the run and is led by star defensive tackle Vita Vea. With that said, because DeVonta Smith (concussion) has already been ruled out and A.J. Brown (hamstring) is listed as questionable, Barkley is in line for a massive workload and should have heavy involvement in the passing game. Even if Brown suits up, there is no reason to expect a lighter workload than the 21 touches Barkley amassed last week. Consider the former New York Giant a top-three fantasy option in Week 4.

Sep 24 12:00pm CT

Philadelphia Eagles' RB Saquon Barkley scored an impressive 33.60 fantasy points in Sunday's Week 3 win in New Orleans. Barkley ran for 147 yards and caught four passes for 9 yards with two touchdowns. It's the 2nd time this season Barkley scored at least 25 fantasy points in a game.

Sep 22 7:00pm CT

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley took 17 carries for 147 yards and two touchdowns, adding four receptions for nine yards during the team's 15-12 win over the New Orleans Saints. After a costly drop that cost the Eagles a shot at sealing the win last week, the 27-year-old got involved heavily in the second half, taking a carry 65 yards in the fourth quarter for a touchdown to give Philadelphia its first lead of the day. The Eagles' defense then gave the lead back with only two minutes to go in the game. The final drive consisted of a huge play by tight end Dallas Goedert and a four-yard score for Barkley, taking the lead. The poorly timed drop last week against Atlanta is the only negative you can point to when looking at the former Giants performance through three weeks. Even in a stiff matchup with the Buccaneers' run defense next week, lock in Barkley as a top-three fantasy option in Week 3.

Dynasty | Eagles running back Saquon Barkley had 147 rushing yards, four catches, nine receiving yards, two touchdowns and a two-point conversion in a road win against the Saints. Dynasty Analysis: Barkley had been bottled up for most of the day until he ripped through the Saints defense for a Philadelphia wisely rode Barkley the rest of way and were able to pull out the win. Despite the dropped pass last week, Saquon has played at a RB1 level so far this season and remains a solid hold in dynasty leagues.

Philadelphia Eagles RB Saquon Barkley rushed for 147 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries against the New Orleans Saints in Week 3. He also caught four passes for nine yards during the game.

Fantasy Spin: Barkley has been a big part of the offense for the Eagles and will continue to see plenty of touches moving forward. He is a must-start option in all fantasy leagues.

Eagles' RB Saquon Barkley ran for 147 yards on 17 carries with two touchdowns in Sunday's win in New Orleans.

Sep 20 12:50pm CT

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley will take on the Saints in New Orleans in Week 3. The 27-year-old was a focal point of the offense again last week against the Atlanta Falcons, especially with A.J. Brown (hamstring) inactive. Barkley put up 116 yards of total offense and was a top-12 RB in most fantasy formats, but did have a costly drop at the end of the game that gave the Falcons the chance to come back and win the game. He will look to make up for that mistake against a Saints defense that has allowed the second-fewest yards on the ground through two weeks. However, they have played the tandems of Chuba Hubbard and Miles Sanders in Week 1 and old man Ezekiel Elliott and Rico Dowdle in Week 2. None of these players come close to the caliber of the back that Barkley is, so there is no reason to consider the Eagles' workhorse back as anything but an RB1 in Week 3.

Sep 17 8:40am CT

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley took 22 carries for 95 yards and caught four of five targets for 21 yards during the team's 22-21 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. The 27-year-old had a great performance throughout the contest but had a costly drop on 3rd and 3 that would have sealed the win for the Eagles. Despite that blunder, Barkley was a fantasy stud again without finding the end zone this week. With none of the other backs ever really getting involved and star wide receiver A.J. Brown (hamstring) set to miss a few more games, Barkley is set up to be a top-five option again in Week 3 as the Eagles will take on the New Orleans Saints.

Sep 16 11:53pm CT

Philadelphia Eagles RB Saquon Barkley rushed 22 times for 95 yards in Week 2 against the Atlanta Falcons, while adding four receptions for 21 yards on five targets Monday, Sept. 16.

Fantasy Spin: Barkley had a chance to salt the game away, and potentially take a swing pass in for a touchdown, but he had a key drop which led to a loss. Fantasy managers were disappointed about the missed opportunity. We'll see if there is any kind of a hangover from the disappointment, or if Barkley bounced back with a vengeance in Week 3 against the New Orleans Saints.

From TheHuddle

Sep 13 6:50pm CT

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley will face off against the Atlanta Falcons in his first home game as an Eagle on Monday night. The star running back put any doubts that fantasy managers had to rest last week when he found the end zone three times against a solid Green Bay defense. He now faces an Atlanta defense that held the combo of Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren out of the end zone last week and kept them each to just 3.5 yards per carry. There should be no reason to expect a scaled-back workload this week, especially if star receiver A.J. Brown (hamstring) is ruled out or is played at less than 100%. Fire up Barkley with confidence as a high-end RB1 heading into Monday night.

Eagles' RB Saquon Barkley scored an impressive 33.20 fantasy points in Friday's Week 1 win against the Packers. Barkley ran for 109 yards and caught two passes for 23 yards with three touchdowns. It's the 1st time this season Barkley scored at least 25 fantasy points in a game.

Sep 7 10:11pm CT

Dynasty | Eagles running back Saquon Barkley rushed for 109 yards and two touchdowns while adding two catches for 23 yards and another score in his Philadelphia debut. Dynasty Analysis: The Eagles offense struggled in its first two series but came to life after with Barkley leading the way. It couldn't have gone much better for Saquon as he had 24 of the 25 running back carries with Kenneth Gainwell garnering just one tote. While we have a long way to go before declaring Barkley as being totally back, this was a pretty awe-inspiring debut for his new team.

Sep 7 2:30pm CT

Eagles' RB Saquon Barkley ran for 109 yards on 24 carries with two touchdowns in Friday's win against the Packers.

Sep 6 11:33pm CT

Philadelphia Eagles RB Saquon Barkley rushed 24 times for 109 yards and two touchdowns and caught two passes for 23 yards and another score in a 34-29 win over the Green Bay Packers in Week 1.

Fantasy Spin: Barkley certainly made a good first impression with his new team, showing that he can still produce when he is part of a competent offense. If he can stay healthy, a big season could be on tap.

From TheHuddle

Sep 6 11:20pm CT

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley had a stellar showing in the 34-29 win over the Packers in Brazil. Making his debut with the Eagles on Friday night, Barkley ran the ball 24 times, amassing 109 yards while finding the end zone twice. It didn't end there, with the former Giant catching both targets for 23 yards and a touchdown. The veteran signed a three-year, $37.75 million contract with the Eagles this offseason after spending his entire career with the Giants. His talent has never been questioned. However, he'll need to stay healthy, which has been an issue in the past. With a win in the books, the Eagles will fly home for some rest before preparing for a Week 2 Monday Night Football showdown with the Atlanta Falcons. As always, Barkley would is considered a must-start in all fantasy formats for that one.

Sep 4 12:10pm CT

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley will head to Brazil in Week 1 to take on the Green Bay Packers on Friday night. The former New York Giants back did not play a single snap in the preseason and should be a full strength after missing some practice time a few weeks ago due to a back injury. The Eagles offensive line is the best Barkley has ever had in his career by a wide margin and his first matchup against the Packers is on he can make a strong statement in to open the regular season. Green Bay gave up the fifth-most rushing yards in 2023 and did much better at defending the pass. Philadelphia is ready to unleash their highly paid free agent acquisition and fantasy managers should consider him a solid RB1 heading into Friday night.

Aug 21 12:20pm CT

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley (back) returned to training camp practice on Wednesday after leaving Tuesday's practice early to have his lower back checked out. Fantasy managers were holding their collective breath on Tuesday when it was announced that Barkley left the practice field and didn't return. It appears that the 27-year-old avoided a serious injury, although there's a good chance he won't suit up in Thursday's preseason finale against the New England Patriots. Injuries are always a concern with the former second overall pick of the New York Giants in 2018 out of Penn State, but when healthy, Barkley could have even more fantasy upside as a high-end RB1 in 2024 in his first year with the Eagles. Kenneth Gainwell and Will Shipley would likely form a two-man committee backfield for the Eagles this year if Barkley misses any time along the way.

From RotoBaller

Aug 21 11:03am CT

Philadelphia Eagles RB Saquon Barkley (back) returned to practice Wednesday, Aug. 21.

Fantasy Spin: Barkley was the RB13 in 14 games last season and is widely considered a top-five option at the position. You have to wonder how much his red-zone value decreases with Jalen Hurts tush-pushing, but he'll accumulate enough stats to be a midrange or upper-middle RB1.
