2024 RTSports Outlook

A move to New York didn't lead to better stats for Campbell. He saw a dip in production, catching 20 passes in 12 games, including three starts. Campbell has done little to date outside of the '22 season. He has more than 165 yards just once in five seasons. Campbell has some talent but just hasn't put it together consistently. Campbell is a real speed burner than can get by defenders in a hurry. He runs good routes and can turn a short pass into a big play. He lacks a little physicality and can be pushed around in coverage. He will look to earn a reserve role for the coming season with the Eagles, playing behind some really good options.

FANTASY OUTLOOK: Campbell has little fantasy value at this point. He could get 25 receptions for 250 yards and a score or two.

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Parris Campbell was a frequent target for quarterback Jalen Hurts during Wednesday's practice, according to Eagles reporter Brandon Lee Gowton. A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith have occupied the WR1 and WR2 roles over the last two seasons and will continue to do so, but Philadelphia has lacked a legitimate No. 3 wideout during Hurts' tenure. Campbell, who has missed 39 games over his first five NFL seasons due to injury, has a chance to crack the starting lineup in three-wide sets. The former Ohio State Buckeye tallied 117 receptions for 1,087 yards and 11 touchdowns in four years with the Indianapolis Colts and one season with the New York Giants. Although he's been disappointing overall, he'll get a new opportunity in Philly, and his competition for the WR3 role became easier after the retirement announcement of DeVante Parker. Campbell won't begin the season on the fantasy football radar in traditional leagues, but he could be worth a late-round pick in best ball formats.

Dynasty | The Eagles have signed wide receiver Parris Campbell. Dynasty Analysis: The Eagles are dipping into the Giants depth chart again and sign Campbell to join running back Saquon Barkley. This move doesn't come with nearly as much fanfare as Campbell was a free agent bust last year in New York, catching just 20 passes for 104 scoreless yards on the season. He's going to need to work for a spot behind DeVonta Smith and AJ Brown this off-season. This signing may be one better in real life than in fantasy leagues as Campbell's dynasty value is near zero.

Former New York Giants wide receiver Parris Campbell reached an agreement on an undisclosed one-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday, according to sources. Campbell had a career-high 623 receiving yards and three touchdowns on 63 receptions in his fourth and final year with the Indianapolis Colts in 2022 before joining the Giants in 2023. He disappointed with the G-Men, catching only 20 of 27 targets for 104 yards and no touchdowns in 12 games (three starts) last year. The 26-year-old former second-round pick by the Colts in 2019 out of Ohio State will head to Philadelphia and could start out of the slot for the Eagles in 2024 behind A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith. Still, with tight end Dallas Goedert heavily involved as a pass-catcher in this offense, Campbell will be the team's fourth receiving option, at best.
