2024 RTSports Outlook

Jeudy had his struggles again last year, finishing with fewer than 800 yards. He had 54 receptions for 758 yards and two touchdowns. Jeudy was just 50th overall in fantasy receiver scoring. Jeudy had double-digit fantasy points seven of 16 games. The entire Broncos offense struggled much of the season. Jeudy gets a fresh start this year, getting traded to the Browns. He will be a big part of that passing game, starting opposite Amari Cooper. Jeudy has never topped 1,000 yards in a season and his career high is 972. Jeudy is a very good route runner with top speed. He catches the ball well and can make plays after the catch. He lacks a little size, though, and drops can be an issue.

FANTASY OUTLOOK: Jeudy is a tough fantasy player to trust but the potential is certainly there for big things. A move to a new team could be a positive for Jeudy. But for now, consider him a No. 3 fantasy receiver. He could be hit or miss once again. He can get around 70 receptions for 1,000 yards and six touchdowns.

RotoBaller's Outlook

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jerry Jeudy enters the 2024 season with a fresh start after being traded by the Denver Broncos during the offseason. Jeudy, a first-round pick in 2020, never met the expectations placed upon him. He underperformed to the tune of just 54 catches, 758 yards, and two touchdowns in 2023. Through four seasons in the NFL, he has never hit the 70-catch or 1,000-yard marks. With that said, Denver's quarterback situation has been somewhat tumultuous since he was drafted. Even with Russell Wilson under center the last two years, Jeudy only caught roughly half of the passes thrown his way. Newfound optimism about his situation in Cleveland relates less to the quarterback room (Deshaun Watson was not great even when healthy in 2023) and more to the idea that a fresh start could be exactly what the doctor ordered for Jeudy. Currently being drafted as the WR56 (ADP of 128), Jeudy is merely being viewed as a bench option. He has a low floor, but he could have some upside if Cleveland's offense performs well under new coordinator Ken Dorsey, who most recently brought the Buffalo Bills offense to great heights. In terms of role, Jeudy should compete for the No. 2 job behind Amari Cooper. Both Jeudy and Elijah Moore have experience playing outside and in the slot, but the former has a leg up on the competition given Cleveland's investment in him (a fifth-round pick, a sixth-round pick, and a $58 million extension). His ADP of 128 is very reasonable, so while he's not a steal or value pick at his current price tag, he's still worth a mid- to late-round flier.

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jerry Jeudy (undisclosed) is sitting out of mandatory minicamp on Tuesday with a minor undisclosed injury. Jeudy's injury doesn't appear to be serious at all, but the Browns aren't going to push their new receiver this offseason. The 25-year-old should be ready to rock for training camp at the end of July, but meanwhile, he's missing valuable repetitions with quarterback Deshaun Watson (shoulder) as he learns a new offense. Jeudy signed a lucrative three-year extension with Cleveland after being acquired in a trade with the Denver Broncos this offseason. The former 15th overall pick by Denver in 2020 out of Alabama has yet to play a full season in four years in the NFL and should be viewed as more of a WR4/5 with a low ceiling and floor in fantasy heading into his first campaign with the Jets behind Amari Cooper.

Dynasty | The Broncos have signed wide receiver Josh Reynolds. Dynasty Analysis: At the moment, this looks like a sneaky good signing for dynasty managers and the Broncos as Reynolds should help vacate the spot left by the departure of Jerry Jeudy. Reynolds had an admirable 40/608/5 for Detroit last season and has proven to be pretty capable when given a chance. While the receiver depth chart in Denver is far from settled, Reynolds is again on the dynasty radar.

The Cleveland Browns are signing wide receiver Jerry Jeudy to a three-year contract extension worth up to $58 million. The deal includes $41 million guaranteed. The organization sent 2024 fifth and sixth-round picks to acquire Jeudy from the Denver Broncos last week, and they wasted no time offering him a new deal. Jeudy, a former first-round pick in 2020, has hauled in 211 passes for 3,053 yards and 11 touchdowns through his first 57 NFL games. He has failed to reach 900 yards in three of his first four seasons. Cleveland appears to be high on him and his chances to reignite his career with new surroundings. He is slated to start alongside Amari Cooper and Elijah Moore in three-wide sets.

The Cleveland Browns restructured the contract of newly acquired wide receiver Jerry Jeudy on Friday to create more than $10 million in 2024 salary cap space. Jeudy is entering the fifth-year option season on his rookie deal and hasn't reached any kind of extension with the Browns since being acquired from the Denver Broncos last weekend, so the restructure likely adds void years to his deal. The 24-year-old former first-rounder from Alabama didn't live up to expectations in Denver in his four years with the team, accumulating 211 catches for 3,053 yards and 11 touchdowns in 57 games (44 starts). He's now set to serve as the No. 2 wideout in Cleveland behind Amari Cooper while taking passes from quarterback Deshaun Watson. Perhaps the change of scenery will do him well, but he'll also be battling for targets with slot man Elijah Moore.

Dynasty | The Denver Broncos are traded wide receiver Jerry Jeudy to the Cleveland Browns. Dynasty Analysis: Seemingly on the trade block for months, Jeudy finallly gets moved, reportedly for a fifth and sixth round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. A former first round pick, Jeudy has struggled with consistency and posted just 54 receptions for 758 yards and two touchdowns last season. Still, this is a player who is still just 25 and had a great pedigree coming out of college. He'll try to turn his career around in Cleveland but will have to deal with Amari Cooper and David Njoku for targets. In the end, his dynasty value likely doesn't change too dramatically with the trade. Jeudy comes in as our WR43 at the moment.

Mar 9 11:50am CT

The Cleveland Browns are sending a 2024 fifth-pick and 2024 sixth-round pick in exchange for Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Cleveland reportedly tried to trade for the former first-rounder at the trade deadline during the 2023 campaign, so they now get their target. After posting 972 receiving yards and six touchdowns in 2022, Jeudy regressed to 758 receiving yards and two touchdowns in 2023. He now gets a change of scenery and a chance to turn his career around. Given the struggles of quarterback Deshaun Watson, it's tough to get too excited about Jeudy's fantasy prospects, especially while sharing a field with Amari Cooper. David Njoku and Elijah Moore round out the crowded pass-catcher group. This move could mean a small boost for Watson's fantasy outlook, but it's tough to see a path toward top-24 upside for Jeudy.

Jan 7 11:10pm CT

Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy had his best game of the year in a meaningless 27-14 Week 18 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday. Although Jeudy only hauled in three of his six targets on the day, he went for 79 yards and caught just his second touchdown of the year on a 24-yard strike from quarterback Jarrett Stidham. Jeudy's six targets were second to only running back Javonte Williams' nine, and Jeudy surprisingly was very productive despite Courtland Sutton returning from a concussion to close out the year. Overall, it was a disappointing year for the former first-rounder, finishing with 54 catches on 86 targets for 758 yards in 16 games. With the Broncos expected to transition away from quarterback Russell Wilson this offseason, Jeudy's best path to more fantasy intrigue in 2024 could be a trade out of Denver.

Jan 6 12:50pm CT

Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy was a distant No. 2 receiver behind Courtland Sutton all year and wasn't able to do anything significant (three catches for 54 yards) in the Week 17 win over the Los Angeles Chargers with Sutton out due to a concussion. The former first-rounder has just one touchdown all season long and has been outside the top-50 receivers this year in half-PPR points per game despite ranking 48th at the position with 81 targets. In the Week 18 regular season finale against the Las Vegas Raiders with Sutton returning from his concussion, it's unlikely that Jeudy suddenly breaks out in the final game of the year with quarterback Jarrett Stidham running the offense. Fantasy managers looking for upside in DFS and season-long contests in Week 18 should ignore Jeudy.

Dec 31 9:00pm CT

Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy was expected to do some damage given how shorthanded this roster is at wideout. However, Jeudy was held in check throughout most of this game by the shaky Los Angeles Chargers defense. He hauled in three of his five targets for 54 yards in the win. To be fair, Jeudy did have backup quarterback Jarrett Stidham under center, but he didn't play too bad on Sunday. This has been a disappointing season for Jeudy and that will likely continue in Week 18. Fantasy managers might be able to use Jeudy has a flex option, but don't count on him for the regular season finale versus the Las Vegas Raiders.

Dec 31 2:30pm CT

Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy (illness) is officially active for Week 17 against the Los Angeles Chargers. He had been listed as questionable but will suit up, which is good news for the Broncos given that both Courtland Sutton (concussion) and Marvin Mims Jr. (hamstring) are inactive. With Denver shorthanded at wide receiver, Jeudy has a chance to lead the team in targets this week. However, his upside is limited with Jarrett Stidham taking over at quarterback. Managers should view Jeudy as a high-end WR4 option this week.

Dec 31 1:00am CT

Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy (illness) is anticipated to suit up on Sunday against the Chargers. The wideout appeared on the injury report because of an illness. However, it appears he's feeling better, so he should be good to go in Week 17, barring a setback. Jeudy hasn't had the breakout year most had envisioned entering the 2023-24 campaign. He has just 48 catches. Even worse, he's only found the end zone once. However, with Courtland Sutton (concussion) out versus Los Angeles, Jeudy should be the No. 1 receiver. But Jarrett Stidham will be under center, so Jeudy is hard to trust from a fantasy standpoint.

Dec 29 8:50pm CT

Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy (illness) is listed as questionable heading into the Week 17 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers. Jeudy popped up on the injury report on Friday with an illness. The severity of the issue is unknown, so the Broncos are likely going to take this as day-to-day. That means, Jeudy could very well end up as a game-time decision for this weekend. Honestly, Jeudy isn't going to have great fantasy value anyway especially with Russell Wilson likely headed to the bench. Jeudy will be a possible WR4 in PPR formats for this game.

Dec 25 12:20pm CT

Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy hauled in three of his five targets for 44 yards in the team's 26-23 loss to the New England Patriots on Sunday Night Football. Jeudy was poised for a big outing when No. 1 wide receiver Courtland Sutton (concussion) left the game in the first half and did not return, but saw limited production. The former Alabama wideout has not been a strong fantasy option this season, eclipsing 80 total yards just once this year with only one touchdown on the season. Jeudy's fantasy status could be elevated if Sutton misses the team's Week 17 matchup against the Chargers, but he remains a boom-or-bust option with an unreliable floor.

From RotoBaller

Dec 24 12:50pm CT

Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy, who is coming off a three-catch 74-yard performance in Week 15, checks in a low-end WR3 in Week 16 against the New England Patriots. The 74-yard "explosion" from Jeudy was his highest yardage total since Week 3 when he totaled 81 yards against the Miami Dolphins. However, there just simply isn't enough volume in the Denver passing attack to make Jeudy anything more than a WR3 on Sunday Night Football. He's never seen more than seven targets in any game this season and teammate Courtland Sutton is quarterback Russell Wilson's favorite red zone target. Jeudy is nothing more than a dart-throw FLEX play in the fantasy playoffs.
