Stevenson had injury issues last year, playing 12 games because of a high-ankle sprain. He was 35th overall in fantasy running back scoring. He did have two games with 20-plus fantasy points and at least double-digit points seven of 12 games. He was pretty consistent in an offense that struggled much of the year. If he plays a full season, Stevenson has 1,214 total yards, 54 receptions and six touchdowns. Stevenson should be the top back for the Patriots once again this season. Stevenson does well between the tackles and is tough to bring down with the ball in his hands. He makes plays after contact and has enough speed to make plays on the outside. He lacks some elusiveness, but can make up with that because of his size and speed. He also catches the ball well and is a legit three-down back.

FANTASY OUTLOOK: Stevenson could improve on what has to be a better Patriots offense. This unit was a disaster last year, so look for Stevenson to post better numbers. He can be a low-end No. 1 fantasy back if all goes well for him. Stevenson can get around 1,500 total yards, 60 receptions and double-digit scores.

Following a strong 2022 season that saw him break into top-12 fantasy conversations at his position, New England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson plodded his way to 4.0 yards per carry in 2023. Stevenson saw plenty of volume in New England's anemic offense, handling 16.3 touches per game over his 12 contests, but his 4.4 yards per touch demonstrated a lack of explosiveness that he showed in the year prior and removed much of his spiked-week potential. The 26-year-old former fourth-round pick out of Oklahoma registered a weekly finish as a top-eight fantasy back in full-PPR settings just three times out of his 12 appearances, totaling only 857 yards with four touchdowns on 196 touches and settling into weekly volume-driven RB2 territory while splitting work with incumbent veteran Ezekiel Elliott. Stevenson's ADP has come down on the heels of a disappointing campaign despite Elliott's departure, considering the Patriots brought in pass-catching specialist Antonio Gibson to likely serve as their primary third-down back in 2024. Much of Stevenson's production over the past two years has stemmed from his activity in the passing game, leaving the fourth-year player as once again a volume-based RB2 option in the dead-zone range of the middle rounds of drafts.
