Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Sean Tucker has been quiet since his 136-yard outburst in Week 6. However, Tucker could see more action against the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday. The Bucs have gone to a committee approach in the backfield. Tucker is normally the third option, but he could see more chances with Bucky Irving (toe) questionable for Week 9. If he sits, Tucker would split up the backfield duties with Rachaad White who has struggled on the ground. Fantasy managers shouldn't expect another 100-yard performance from Tucker, but he might have some low-end flex appeal if Irving is unable to play.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Sean Tucker was quiet during last week's loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Tucker exploded for 136 yards and two touchdowns in Week 6, but was held in check to 29 yards on five carries in the loss. The Bucs are using a three-man committee in the backfield, which is going to make this a messy situation. Tucker appears to be on the bottom of that committee after his dud last week. However, Bucky Irving (toe) is questionable for Week 8, so Tucker might be asked to step into the RB2 role this weekend. If that happens, Tucker could have some flex appeal otherwise fantasy managers can keep him on the bench for their matchup against the Atlanta Falcons.

With Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White back from injury in the Monday night loss to the Baltimore Ravens, Sean Tucker worked as the team's clear No. 3 behind White and rookie Bucky Irving. Tucker had five carries (four fewer than Irving and five fewer than White) for 29 yards (5.8 yards per carry) and caught one of his two targets in the passing game for a nine-yard pickup. The 22-year-old second-year back was a popular waiver-wire pickup last week after going for a season-high 14 carries, 136 rushing yards and one touchdown while adding three catches for 56 yards and another score in the Week 6 win over the division-rival New Orleans Saints when White was sidelined. Tucker should remain involved in what has become a three-headed backfield, but it will only be in a complementary role as long as both White and Irving stay healthy.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Sean Tucker had a breakout performance against the New Orleans Saints last week. Tucker went crazy as he rushed for 136 yards with one touchdown in the win. He also added three receptions for 56 yards and an additional touchdown. This epic performance has earned him a role in the backfield committee along with Rachaad White (foot) and Bucky Irving. Right now, it's uncertain if White is going to suit up for Monday's game against the Baltimore Ravens. If not, Irving and Tucker would be the primary ball handlers in the backfield once again. However, the Ravens are a much stronger unit against the rushing attack. Tucker earned over 60 of his yards in garbage time last week. What he accomplished was impressive, but should be considered more of a fluke outing. Most fantasy managers should be able to find a more reliable option ahead of this Week 7 matchup.

Buccaneers' RB Sean Tucker scored an impressive 34.20 fantasy points in Sunday's Week 6 win in New Orleans. Tucker ran for 136 yards and caught three passes for 56 yards with two touchdowns. It's the 1st time this season Tucker scored at least 25 fantasy points in a game.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Sean Tucker, who exploded for 136 rushing yards and a touchdown on 14 carries in the Week 6 win over the division-rival New Orleans Saints on Sunday in addition to a receiving score, will join Rachaad White (foot) and rookie Bucky Irving more in the backfield moving forward. "It's definitely worthy of him making it a three-headed monster," head coach Todd Bowles said of Tucker. The 22-year-old was everywhere on Sunday for the Bucs, also adding 55 return yards on two kickoffs. Tucker had just three touches through the first five weeks of his second season in the NFL but saw an expanded role with White being inactive in Week 6. At the very least, Tucker is worthy of waiver-wire consideration in deeper fantasy leagues and for those that are in need of a RB or have White rostered. Whenever White returns, this backfield could get murky for fantasy managers.

Dynasty | Bucs running back Sean Tucker had 136 rushing yards, three catches, 56 receiving yards and two touchdowns in Tampa's win against New Orleans. Dynasty Analysis: The Bucs put up a whopping 51 points today and Tucker was a huge part of it. Tucker came into the game with 30 total rushing yards in his career but took advantage of the injury to Rachaad White to team up with Bucky Irving and run over the Saints. While this is likely not a sign of things to come, Tucker should certainly be on dynasty rosters at the moment and anyone who has held on to him for this long should be congratulated.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Sean Tucker shocked everybody with his incredible performance on the ground during Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints. The Bucs decided to split up the running back role on Sunday with Rachaad White (toe) being inactive. Both backs played well, but Tucker was nearly unstoppable on the field. He rushed 14 times for 136 yards and a touchdown in the win. He also added three receptions for 56 yards and an additional score through the air. Tucker was fairly unknown coming into this game, but will now be one of the most popular adds on the waiver wire. It's unclear if White will be back next week, but regardless he has struggled on the ground. Tucker has earned his way into the rotation, but Bucky Irving isn't going away anytime soon. Tucker is worth adding for fantasy managers in desperate need of help, but it's unlikely he tops this performance anytime soon.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers' RB Sean Tucker ran for 136 yards on 14 carries with one touchdown in Sunday's win in New Orleans.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Sean Tucker could see more usage during the upcoming Week 6 matchup against the New Orleans Saints. Right now, lead back Rachaad White (foot) is considered doubtful for Sunday's contest. That means, Bucky Irving could be asked to step into the lead role which would make Tucker the primary backup. Tucker has only seen two rushing attempts as third string, but would likely see at least a handful if not more if White sits out. Tucker won't be an ideal streaming choice, but would be a desperation option in deep leagues.

Dynasty | The Bucs have placed running back Chase Edmonds on injured reserve. Dynasty Analysis: He could still be activated at some point but this is bad news for his dynasty outlook in 2024. Tampa Bay looks to be rolling with Rachaad White, Bucky Irving and Sean Tucker to start the year and it's hard to see Edmonds making much of an impact, even if he does come back. He's clearly droppable in dynasty leagues.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Sean Tucker did a solid job on the ground during Saturday's preseason opener against the Cincinnati Bengals. The second-year back barely touched the field during his rookie season in Tampa Bay. Tucker is looking to secure the backup role behind Rachaad White. He certainly helped his case while rushing for 68 yards on 10 carries in the win. The Bucs No. 2 job behind White appears to be wide open right now. That being said, both Tucker and Bucky Irving made strong cases during the preseason opener. There is still a few more games for these two to separate themselves before Week 1. Whoever earns the job should see a handful of carries behind White on a weekly basis.
