However, he made a name for himself in Washington, where he amassed 184 grabs for 1,685 yards and 14 touchdowns in 52 appearances for the Commanders. While Thomas will be behind George Kittle (abdomen) on the depth chart, he could still get involved enough to warrant a spot on some fantasy rosters. Of course, Thomas' stock will rise higher during the season if Kittle goes down with an injury.

But it's been really hard to trust Thomas as anything more than a TE2 streamer in fantasy this year. The 32-year-old has managed to stay healthy, which is nice, but he has only 54 catches (76 targets) for 487 yards and four touchdowns in his 15 games played. He has exceeded 50 yards receiving just three times all year and not since he had 58 yards on five receptions in Week 11 against the New York Giants. At best, he'll be a low-end TE1 in Week 18 against the Dallas Cowboys.
