New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers (knee) has been removed from the injury report ahead of the Week 5 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings. The veteran signal-caller sat out of Wednesday's practice, but returned to the field on Thursday and Friday. That being said, Rodgers will be fine heading into their matchup in London. This isn't an ideal matchup for the Jets against a tough Vikings defense that is allowing less than 15 points per game. Rodgers will be on the lower end of the QB2 radar for this weekend.

Oct 4 1:13pm CT

New York Jets OT Morgan Moses (knee) did not practice on Friday, Oct. 4, and has been ruled out for Week 5 against the Minnesota Vikings. LB C.J. Mosley (toe) and DL Leki Fotu (hamstring) were limited in practice on Friday and are listed as doubtful. OT Tyron Smith (rest), QB Aaron Rodgers (knee) and OG Alijah Vera-Tucker (ankle) practiced in full on Friday and have been removed from the injury report.

From TheHuddle

Oct 3 6:30pm CT

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers (knee) was listed as a full practice participant on Thursday after he was limited on Wednesday. Rodgers admitted earlier this week that he was a bit banged up and dealt with some swelling in his knee following the Week 4 upset loss to the Denver Broncos, but his participation at practice this week shows that he should be just fine to play in Week 5 on the road against the undefeated Minnesota Vikings. The Jets are not concerned with his status. Rumors have been floating this week that Raider receiver Davante Adams is angling to be traded to the Jets to reunite with Rodgers. That would certainly be a boost for the 40-year-old's fantasy value the rest of the season if that comes to pass. Rodgers isn't going to have Adams this week against an aggressive Vikings defense in a hostile environment. He will remain a low-upside QB2 in Week 5.

New York Jets OT Tyron Smith (rest) did not practice on Thursday, Oct. 3. Also, OL Morgan Moses (knee), LB C.J. Mosley (toe) and OL Alijah Vera-Tucker (ankle) were limited and DL Leki Fotu (hamstring) and QB Aaron Rodgers (knee) practiced in full.

Oct 3 3:23pm CT

New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers (knee) practiced in full on Thursday, Oct. 3, after not taking part the day before.

Fantasy Spin: Rodgers only drew a limited tag on Wednesday because he went out to the practice field later than the rest of the team, although he did say earlier in the week that he's dealing with some knee soreness, so the injury is legit. Nevertheless, Rodgers ranks as QB18 overall this season and isn't anything more than a bye week fill-in.

Dynasty | Davante Adams' preference is to be traded to the New York Jets. Dynasty Analysis: The Saints are also reportedly high on his list. Say what you will about Adams, but he clearly values friendships with quarterbacks as Derek Carr (Saints) and Aaron Rodgers (Jets) are the two he had the most success with. This should come as no surprise as speculation about Adams going to the Jets started nearly immediately after Derek Carr left Las Vegas and Aaron Rodgers was moved to New York. The Raiders are saying they'll take the best deal on the table, so this is far from a done deal. What does seem to be set is the fact Adams has likely played his last game for the Raiders. His dynasty value will hinge on where he lands.

Oct 2 3:33pm CT

New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers (knee) was limited during practice Wednesday, Oct. 2.

Fantasy Spin: Rodgers likely will be on the field for the Week 5 game, but fantasy players can keep an eye on the situation. He has posted solid numbers so far this season but is probably only an option in two-quarterback leagues.

From TheHuddle

Oct 2 2:00pm CT

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers (knee) will be listed as a limited participant at Wednesday's practice with a knee injury, but head coach Robert Saleh is not concerned about his availability for Sunday's contest against the Minnesota Vikings in London. Rodgers reportedly missed the team's stretching period, which will cause him to be labeled as limited, but his injury is considered minor. The four-time NFL MVP was sacked five times in the ugly Week 4 loss to the Denver Broncos and said he is dealing with a little bit of swelling in his knee. Even if Rodgers was fully healthy, he would not be worth starting in single-quarterback fantasy football leagues against Minnesota, who leads the NFL in sacks (17) through four weeks. Rodgers is the QB18 on the season and is averaging just 14.3 fantasy points per game.

From RotoBaller

Oct 1 2:23pm CT

New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers (knee) told The Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday, Oct. 1, that while his knee is 'a little swollen,' he is feeling about the same as he usually does around this time of the year.

Fantasy Spin: The Denver Broncos were successful in slowing down the Jets in Week 4 due in part to a wet field and some undesirable weather. New York has not caught much of a break in terms of scheduling either, seemingly facing one top defense after another. That will continue in Week 5 against arguably the best defense in the league in the league so far in the Minnesota Vikings. It is enough to keep Rodgers firmly in the QB2 range for the time being.

Oct 1 2:00pm CT

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers (knee) was sacked five times in the ugly loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 4, and during an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, he said he is feeling "a little banged up" and his knee is "a little swollen." The four-time NFL MVP is coming off a torn Achilles from last season, so any lower-body injuries are concerning. However, the 40-year-old did not express any concern about his status moving forward, so he should be ready to suit up against the Minnesota Vikings in London on Sunday. The Vikings have been a mid-level defense against fantasy quarterbacks, so Rodgers is not worth rolling the dice on in single-QB formats. Rodgers has completed 64.1% of his passes for 849 yards, five touchdowns, and one interception in his first four full games with the Jets.

From RotoBaller

Sep 29 7:43pm CT

New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers completed 24-of-42 passes for 225 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 4 against the Denver Broncos, and he ran five times for 26 yards.

Fantasy Spin: The weather was ugly, and that contributed to his season-low 57.1% completion percentage. It was his first game without a TD strike, too. Chalk it up to an ugly weather day. He'll look to bounce back in London against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 5. He remains more of a QB2 in most fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Sep 29 6:50pm CT

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers completed 24 of his 42 passes for 225 yards while adding five carries for 26 yards in a 10-9 loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 4. Rodgers and the Jets had a tough time putting points on the board on a sloppy, rainy afternoon in New Jersey as they to the underdog Broncos. The veteran quarterback took five sacks and came up favoring his left leg after taking a sack in the fourth quarter, the same leg in which he had his Achilles tendon surgically repaired last year, but he told reporters after the game that he was fine. Rodgers has now thrown for five touchdowns and one interception through four games while leading the Jets to a 2-2 record. The veteran quarterback will now begin preparing to take on an exciting Minnesota Vikings offense in London in Week 5. He can be slotted in as a mid-range QB2 for that contest.

From RotoBaller

Sep 27 6:40pm CT

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers turned in his best game of the season in a Week 3 win over the New England Patriots, throwing for 281 yards and two touchdowns. He will look to build upon that performance in Week 4's home matchup against the Denver Broncos. The Broncos have been tough on opposing quarterbacks this season, allowing just the 23rd-most fantasy points per game to the position through three games. Rodgers has gotten progressively better each game this season and is a decent option as a QB2 in superflex leagues but the matchup isn't ideal this weekend. Treat Rodgers as a low-end QB2 in fantasy in Week 4.

From RotoBaller

Sep 25 1:30pm CT

New York Jets offensive tackle Morgan Moses (knee) suffered an MCL sprain in the Week 3 win over the New England Patriots. The veteran is expected to miss time, but he is not currently viewed as a candidate to be placed on Injured Reserve, according to head coach Robert Saleh. The injury to Aaron Rodgers' right tackle is far from ideal, but the good news is the ailment should not keep Moses out long-term. On another positive note, the Jets drafted former Penn State offensive tackle Olu Fashanu in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft, so the rookie could provide solid play in relief of Moses on the opposite side of future Hall of Fame left tackle Tyron Smith. New York's offense looks to be getting on track, but injury concerns are present for its aging quarterback and offensive line.

From RotoBaller

Sep 20 4:20am CT

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers looked sharp in a 24-3 win over the New England Patriots in Week 3's Thursday night game. Rodgers completed 27 of his 35 passes for 281 yards and two touchdowns while adding three rushes for 18 yards in the win. The veteran quarterback threw touchdown passes to Allen Lazard and Garrett Wilson in the win, giving him five on the season. Rodgers has improved with each game this season as he gets further removed from a season-ending Achilles tear in Week 1 of the 2023 season. Even more encouraging regarding his Achilles was the 18 rushing yards as he came into the game with three carries for zero yards. Rodgers now has a few extra days to rest ahead of a Week 4 matchup against the Denver Broncos.

From RotoBaller

Sep 20 12:33am CT

New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers connected on 27 of 35 passing attempts for 281 yards and a pair of touchdowns in a blowout victory over the New England Patriots on Thursday, Sept. 19. Rodgers also ran the ball three times for 18 yards.

Fantasy Spin: In his first full home game, Rodgers gave the crowd what they were hoping to see in 2023 when he was acquired from the Green Bay Packers. He was decisive and accurate with the ball, repeatedly setting up his targets for yards after the catch, and his mobility looked better than it had the first two weeks. Rodgers also showed trust in his options, rather than focusing heavily on Garrett Wilson. On the whole, it was an impressive performance from the 40-year-old quarterback. While you'll still want to be judicious with putting him in your lineup, a Week 4 matchup with Denver affords him QB1 potential.

From TheHuddle

Sep 18 8:13pm CT

New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers has 343 passing yards through two games, and for only the second time in his career, he has been held under 200 passing yards in back-to-back starts.

Fantasy Spin: After missing basically all of last season, it is fair to assume that Rodgers will improve as the season goes on. That being said, he hasn't been an elite fantasy quarterback since 2021. At best, he could be a matchup-based streaming option.

From TheHuddle

Sep 18 5:40pm CT

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers has thrown for 343 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception through the first two games of the season but has yet to throw for more than 176 passing yards in a contest. He will look to change that at home against the New England Patriots in Week 3's Thursday night game. The Patriots have been tough against opposing quarterbacks through two games, having allowed just one passing touchdown thus far. That being said, Rodgers is a talented enough quarterback to overcome difficult matchups but he still settles in as a mid-range QB2 heading into Week 3.

From RotoBaller

Sep 15 9:00pm CT

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers completed 18 of his 30 passes for 176 yards and two touchdowns in a 24-17 win over the Tennessee Titans in Week 2. Rodgers threw his first touchdown pass to Braelon Allen in the second quarter and then came back and found Breece Hall for a 26-yard touchdown in the third quarter. The win was Rodgers' first as the quarterback of the New York Jets and was a long time coming after he tore his Achilles tendon in Week 1 of the 2023 season. Rodgers has now thrown for 343 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception through his first two games of the season. He will have a short turnaround as the Jets face the New England Patriots on Thursday night in Week 3.

From RotoBaller

Sep 15 5:23pm CT

New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers went 18-for-30 for 176 yards and two touchdowns against the Tennessee Titans in Week 2.

Fantasy Spin: Rodgers seems to be comfortable after his major injury last season and has three touchdown passes in two games. He should not be a starting option in standard leagues but can be used in two-quarterback leagues.
