Welcome to Fanatical Playoff Football. This is our 13th year, 10th using this website.
This year will allow you to have 9 offensive positions to fill. There are NO defensive/special teams! The first change is you can select a coach. You will receive 1 points for a win and lose 1 points for a loss. You cannot replace your coach once he is eliminated, thus giving you 0 pts. for that week. Also, you do not have to start a coach if you feel he might lose. The second change is you can have 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE and 1 K. Notice the increase in the number of wide receivers. You must select all 8 players and your coach prior to the first playoff kickoff. You may make unlimited roster changes up to that point.
The last change is I am allowing 5 player moves over the 3 week period following the initial playoff weekend. You may use them in any combination NOT to exceed 2 moves in any week. This should allow teams to stay more competitive longer into the playoffs. Strategy wise, you would want to pick players that might play all 4 weeks, thus saving moves. At the very least, you would want them to play well for 3 weeks or have that one fantastic week before they bow out.
Cost is $20 and all monies collected will be paid out minus the $20 to use the site. I will pay the top 2 with less than 20 participants, top 3 with 21-35, and top 4 with over 36. If there is a tie between any of the money finishers, that money would be split between the teams tying, i.e., tie for second would be 2nd place money plus third place money divided by 2. Max is 100 teams, so it is imperative that you accept the invitation as quickly as possible. Payment and/or arrangements must be made by game time Saturday, January 14th, so otherwise stated, please pay when you select your team. You may pay via PayPal or Venmo.
