The 22-year-old had a stellar first season in the league. In 15 games, he threw for 4,108 yards, 23 touchdowns, and five picks, adding 167 yards and three scores off 39 carries. Without question, expectations for Stroud are high entering the 2024-25 campaign, and he could be an even bigger fantasy asset if he becomes more accurate. There will likely be an update on Stroud's condition soon. Fortunately, it doesn't sound like it's anything fantasy managers need to be concerned about.

According to Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski, wide receiver Jerry Jeudy (leg) is "close" to practicing. The wideout was recently spotted working on the side at training camp. However, there hasn't been much clarity surrounding the exact nature of the ailment other than it being labeled as a "minor injury." Jeudy, who was traded to Cleveland from Denver, agreed to a three-year, $58 million contract extension in March. In his four seasons with the Broncos, he amassed 211 catches for 3,053 yards and 11 touchdowns. Although Jeudy has shown flashes of promise over the years, fantasy managers have mostly been disappointed with his production. At any rate, he needs to get on the field with his new team soon. If not, Jeudy's fantasy value will drop even more.

According to Dallas Cowboys EVP Stephen Jones, wide receiver CeeDee Lamb was sent a new contract offer on Friday. It appears things are moving in a promising direction, with Jones acknowledging that conversations between both parties have been positive. Lamb is entering the final year of his rookie deal and hasn't reported to training camp. But with Lamb coming off a 135-catch, 1,749-yard, 12-touchdown season, it is in the Cowboys' best interest to get him to sign on the dotted line as soon as possible. With that said, the wideout's fantasy value won't take a hit unless this situation extends for at least a few more weeks.

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is participating in training camp despite being on an expiring contract. "Yes," owner Jerry Jones said when asked if Prescott could be at his best while also playing on the final year of his current agreement. "That implies that he won't get a new deal, and that's not the case. Those things can change everyday. It can happen." With Jordan Love and Tua Tagovailoa landing new contracts, the focus will shift to Prescott and the Cowboys. While this situation has been ongoing for quite some time, it appears both sides are willing to work to get something done as soon as possible. The signal-caller finished last season by throwing for 4,516 yards, 36 touchdowns, and nine interceptions. As a result, Prescott is expected to remain a top fantasy performer, regardless of his contract situation.

Detroit Lions kicker Michael Badgley (hamstring) was officially placed on injured reserve. While the team has already acknowledged his injury was season-ending, the latest marks an official end to his 2024-25 campaign. The 26-year-old has played for the Chargers, Titans, Colts, Bears, and Lions since 2018. He's made 98 of his 119 kicks while also missing just seven of his 175 extra-point tries. Although Badgley isn't the best fantasy kicker, he's undoubtedly a better option than others. But now he's heading for surgery, with the Lions anticipated to quickly move to fill the position.

The Dolphins signed free-agent linebacker Curtis Bolton on Saturday. Since entering the NFL, he has appeared in 28 games for the Lions and Raiders, totaling just 16 tackles. However, the move doesn't mean much from a fantasy standpoint outside of the team waiving quarterback Gavin Hardison to make the deal happen. This brings Miami down to three quarterbacks, including Tua Tagovailoa, who just agreed to a four-year, $212 million contract extension.

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce stated how "taxing" last season was from a physical standpoint. However, he appears committed to getting himself in better shape heading into the 2024-25 campaign. "I've had more snaps than a lot of guys if not everybody in the NFL over the past five, six years" said Kelce during an interview. "I'm very prideful of that, but I know it has taken a toll on my body. So, it's just making sure that my body's getting that rest and that ability to train harder and be able to withstand an entire 17-to-20-game season." Undeniably, Kelce is the best tight end in the National Football League. But, his production declined in 2023-24, finishing with 93 catches for 984 yards and five touchdowns. Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons has been an imposing defensive presence over the years. However, it appears Parsons could be more dominant than ever, with Mike Zimmer taking over as the team's defensive coordinator. "Without getting into specifics, the way Mike Zimmer and that defensive staff are using him is going to be a really good challenge for us," said head coach Mike McCarthy. "He looks good. Just playing a couple of different positions, but yeah, I'm impressed with him." Parsons has enjoyed how things have gone so far under Zimmer and plans to be "all over" during the 2024-25 campaign. The 2021 No. 12 overall pick has been a menace for offensive linemen since entering the National Football League. In 50 games, he has totaled 213 tackles, adding 40.5 sacks, seven forced fumbles, and four fumble recoveries. Parsons has been instrumental to the success of Cowboys defense. Yet, the 25-year-old could make the unit even more productive for fantasy managers this season if things work out as advertised.

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf has been a top fantasy wideout for years. However, according to quarterback Geno Smith, Metcalf has "another level" and plans to "unlock" it this season. "That's my job to keep pushing him and that's his job to keep coming and bringing it every single day," Smith said. "I'm just trying to push him and hopefully I can be the quarterback that he needs to unlock that." It's a new era in Seattle, with the Seahawks hiring former Ravens defensive coordinator Mike MacDonald. The team also brought in Ryan Grubb from the University of Washington to serve as the new offensive coordinator. But despite the changes, Smith and Metcalf already have an established rapport, so it seems the duo is more motivated than ever to dominate opposing defenses during the 2024-25 campaign. Without question, Metcalf has all the tools necessary to remain an elite fantasy producer, considering he's gone for over 1,000 receiving yards in three of his five seasons in the National Football League while totaling 43 touchdowns during that span.

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy won't be satisfied by just winning games this season. "I want to be dominant," said Purdy in an interview. "Not just win games and feel like, 'eh.' I want to be dominant with the consistent decisions and feeling like we're the top dogs every day." The signal-caller finished the 2023-24 campaign by throwing for 4,280 yards, 31 touchdowns, and 11 picks. The 49ers signed free-agent wide receiver Frank Darby on Saturday. He is set to receive a one-year deal. The Falcons selected the 26-year-old using the No. 187 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. In 15 games in Atlanta, Darby caught just two of his five targets for 29 yards. He also spent time with the practice squad. If Darby is on the field come Week 1, he'll likely spend most of his time on special teams, making him nearly irrelevant as a fantasy wideout. Free-agent quarterback Ryan Tannehill is enjoying life with his family while acknowledging he's received offers from clubs around the National Football League. While that doesn't mean he's not interested in returning to the NFL, he's also waiting for the right situation before contemplating a comeback. "It's a weird feeling, right? Just because I've done it so long and loved every step of the way," said Tannehill during an interview. "But my son's birthday is tomorrow. I'm just going to get to celebrate my son's birthday fully and not be in training camp, so I'm really excited for that. But yeah, it's a weird feeling. I'm staying in shape and staying ready if the right thing pops up and comes available. But also at the same time, really enjoying where I'm at and the time with the family." Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson (illness) returned to practice on Saturday. He missed four days to begin training camp, and while details surrounding the nature of his illness were scarce, it's a great sign for fantasy managers. The 27-year-old had a great season in 2023-24, throwing for 3,678 yards, 24 touchdowns, and seven picks, adding 821 yards and five scores off 148 carries. He also completed a career-high 67.2% of his throws and was named the league's Most Valuable Player for the second time. Without question, Jackson has plenty of hype surrounding him entering the 2024-25 campaign. He has potent weapons on the offensive end, specifically former Titan Derrick Henry. As a result, fantasy managers should anticipate the signal-caller being one of the first fantasy quarterbacks grabbed in drafts.

Dynasty Analysis: Love signed a four-year, $220 million contract with a record $75 million signing bonus and $155 million guaranteed. His average annual salary matches Trevor Lawrence and Joe Burrow's as the highest in league history. The Packers had Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers for the better part of the last 30 years and hope their streak of stability sticks with Love. He was a question mark for a long time but his debut as the starter couldn't have gone much better as he posted 4,159 passing yards with 32 touchdowns and just 11 interceptions. Love is locked in as a QB1 for the foreseeable future and an easy choice to build a dynasty team around.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin already appears to be in midseason form, according to his teammate Mike Evans. "He's going to have a great year," said Evans. "He looks like he's in midseason form. He's making plays, going deep, looks like the 2019 Chris Godwin. He's always been an unbelievable player and leader for us, and I expect no different this year." The 2017 No. 84 overall pick had the best year of his career in 2019, amassing 1,333 yards and nine touchdowns off 86 catches. However, his trips to the end zone have declined since then despite getting more targets than ever. With that said, there are plans to use Godwin more in the slot, and his rapport with Baker Mayfield continues to improve. As a result, a comeback year for Godwin could easily be on the horizon, assuming he remains healthy.

Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku (undisclosed) was cleared to practice at training camp for the first time on Saturday. The Browns held Njoku out of the first two days of camp as a precaution due to a minor undisclosed injury. Njoku will be fully ready for the start of the 2024 regular season after coming on strong in the second half of last year, ironically after quarterback Deshaun Watson (shoulder) had season-ending surgery. The 28-year-old former 29th overall pick in 2017 out of Miami was a first-time Pro Bowler and set career-highs in catches (81), targets (123), receiving yards (882) and touchdowns (six) in 16 regular-season starts. The big-bodied and burly tight end excels in yards after the catch and should remain one of the most-targeted pass-catchers in Cleveland's offense. Njoku is firmly on the TE1 radar after his strong finish in 2023.

Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett (hamstring), the league's reigning Defensive Player of the Year, continues his ramp-up process in training camp this summer. Head coach Kevin Stefanski said it's the lingering effects from the left-hamstring injury that Garrett sustained on the final day of minicamp in June. Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb (knee) was seen running sprints on one of the team's practice fields after training camp concluded on Friday. Chubb went through a handful of sprints and finished by carrying a ball through cones in a standard agility drill. The 28-year-old had two surgeries last year after tearing the ACL, MCL and meniscus in his left knee last September. Unsurprisingly, he was put on the Physically Unable to Perform list to start training camp, and depending on his progress in camp, Chubb could start the regular season on the PUP list, meaning he'd miss at least the first four games. It's unclear if Chubb was going full speed on his sprints on Friday, but he wasn't wearing a brace or wrap on his surgically repaired knee. And it's much too early to tell if he'll have a shot at being on the active roster in Week 1, which makes Chubb a highly volatile risk/reward RB3/flex in fantasy as he comes off a devastating and gruesome injury.

He's got some great news to share with you," head coach Kevin Stefanski said. It sounds like Ford has a new addition to the family. Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed (toe) is taking his first team repetitions of training camp on Saturday, and it coincides with quarterback Jordan Love returning to practice for the first time this summer after signing a record contract extension on Friday. It didn't take long for the two to hook up in practice, with Love throwing an out-route to Reed out of the slot toward the right sideline. Reed started camp on the Non-Football Injury list but was activated earlier this week after suffering a minor toe injury earlier this summer. The 24-year-old former second-rounder last year proved his explosiveness right away in his first NFL season, scoring 10 total touchdowns while catching 64 passes for 793 yards in 16 regular-season games (13 starts). Reed is a special talent, but fantasy managers shouldn't reach for his TD production. With Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs and Dontayvion Wicks all in the picture, Reed could be a TD-or-bust WR3/4 in fantasy.
