Ravens star MLB Roquan Smith (hamstring) out vs. Chargers

Mon Nov 25 8:21pm ET
Field Level Media

Baltimore Ravens star middle linebacker Roquan Smith is inactive for Monday night's game against the Los Angeles Chargers due to a hamstring injury.

Smith was injured in last week's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers and missed practice all week. He was listed as questionable on Saturday's injury report.

Smith did some running and stretching work in pregame warmups on Monday before the club released its inactives list with his name on it.

A two-time Pro Bowl selection, Smith entered the week as the co-leader in tackles in the NFL with 110.

Baltimore also listed running back Rasheen Ali, center Nick Samac, outside linebacker David Ojabo, cornerback Arthur Maulet (calf) and safety Sanoussi Kane (ankle) as inactive. Maulet and Kane were ruled out in Saturday.

Center Tyler Linderbaum (back) and defensive tackle Travis Jones (ankle) are both active after being listed as questionable on Saturday.

Daniel Jones Nov 25 8:20pm CT
Daniel Jones

Free-agent quarterback Daniel Jones has been a hot topic since being released by the New York Giants last week. Jones has drawn quite a lot of interest and figures to sign with another organization soon. The Las Vegas Raiders reportedly have shown interest in signing Jones after quarterback Gardner Minshew II (collarbone) suffered a season-ending injury on Sunday. Despite that, Jones has reportedly said he's not interested in joining the two-win Raiders. Instead, Jones wants to join a playoff contender as he has drawn interest from multiple playoff teams. Right now, the Minnesota Vikings and Baltimore Ravens are the two favorites to land Jones, according to Adam Schefter. It remains to be seen which team will actually sign Jones, but that should happen in the coming days. As for the Raiders, Desmond Ridder figures to start going forward with Jones deciding to go elsewhere.

Chase Brown Nov 25 6:40pm CT
Chase Brown

Coming out of their Week 12 bye, Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said the team is looking for a way to manage running back Chris Brown's workload in the backfield. "We've gotta find ways to manage it. I think circumstances has led to what he's gotten the last two weeks. I'd like for Chase to touch the ball as much as possible he's got the potential to be explosive on every single play. At the same time, you do need another back in there to help manage that workload. We'll try to get other guys mixed in there to give him a little bit more of a break," Taylor said. Zack Moss (neck) is out for the year, which has led to Brown seeing almost all of the backfield touches in recent weeks as trade acquisition Khalil Herbert learns the offense. Brown has had 20-plus touches in two of the last three games. While he could see more help moving forward, he'll remain a must-start for fantasy managers.

Roquan Smith Nov 25 6:30pm CT
Roquan Smith

As expected, Baltimore Ravens linebacker Roquan Smith (hamstring) inside linebacker is officially inactive for the Monday night showdown against the Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium. Smith came down with an injured hamstring in the Week 11 loss to the division-rival Pittsburgh Steelers and will miss Monday's game after not practicing all week. It will be the 27-year-old's first missed game with Baltimore due to injury, and it's a major downgrade for a Ravens offense that has been very disappointing in 2024. The All-Pro linebacker has been a top-five fantasy option at the position in IDP fantasy leagues this year with 110 tackles (61 solo), an interception, three pass breakups, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in 11 games. In his absence against the Chargers, Chris Board and Malik Harrison will be expected to do more.

Brian Robinson Jr. Nov 25 6:30pm CT
Brian Robinson Jr.

Washington Commanders head coach Dan Quinn said on Monday that running back Brian Robinson Jr. (ankle) is getting treatment for the ankle injury that forced him out of the Week 12 loss to the division-rival Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. The team will know more on his status for the Week 13 game against the Tennessee Titans later in the week. The good news is that the 25-year-old re-entered the game on Sunday after initially leaving, but he left again in the second half and never returned. With Austin Ekeler being in the concussion protocol this week, there's a possibility the Commanders have to turn to a committee approach with Jeremy McNichols and Chris Rodriguez Jr. this Sunday against the Titans. McNichols should be a popular waiver-wire pickup this week for fantasy managers hurting at the RB position.

Lamar Jackson Nov 25 6:20pm CT
Lamar Jackson

Los Angeles Chargers outside linebacker Khalil Mack (groin), who was questionable to play in Week 12, is active on Monday night versus the Baltimore Ravens. Mack will return to the pass-rushing fold for the Bolts after sitting out the Week 11 win over the Cincinnati Bengals due to a groin issue. It's good news for the Chargers defense in a tough matchup against the second-highest-scoring offense in the league. The 33-year-old Mack had a career-high 17 sacks in his second season in LA in 2024 4.5 sacks through nine starts in 2024. He could be on some sort of a snap count in his first game back on Monday night, which makes him a more volatile starting defensive line option in IDP fantasy formats. Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is extremely hard to reach in the backfield and bring down for sacks, which is another reason to fade Mack in his return.

Cooper Rush Nov 25 6:10pm CT
Cooper Rush

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Cooper Rush (knee) is on the team's Week 13 injury report and was listed as limited on Monday's estimated injury report. "He's got some work to do, but I think we're gonna be fine," head coach Mike McCarthy said. Rush appears to be a little banged up after a hard-fought upset win over the division-rival Washington Commanders on Sunday, but he should be ready to go by Thursday for the Thanksgiving contest against the division-rival New York Giants. The 31-year-old was awful in his first start in the Week 10 loss to the Eagles, throwing for just 45 yards. But he's been better the last two weeks, going a combined 56-for-87 (64.4%) for 601 yards, three TDs and one interception against the Texans and Commanders. If he's active, Rush will have some upside as a QB2 in Week 13 against the Giants.

Ladd McConkey Nov 25 6:10pm CT
Ladd McConkey

Los Angeles Chargers rookie wide receiver Ladd McConkey (shoulder) is officially active on Monday night to face the visiting Baltimore Ravens, as expected. McConkey will end up playing despite being listed as questionable on the final Week 12 injury report. It's excellent news for the Chargers offense, fantasy managers that rolled the dice on McCaffrey despite his questionable tag, and quarterback Justin Herbert's fantasy value in a plus-plus matchup. The Ravens defense has allowed the most half-PPR fantasy points to receivers this year. Meanwhile, McConkey has been Herbert's favorite target, as he leads the team with 43 receptions, 615 receiving yards and four touchdowns in his first 10 NFL games. The second-round selection out of Georgia could feast on Monday night. Both of his 100-yard games in 2024 have come in the last four games, including in the Week 11 win over the Bengals.

Jake Ferguson Nov 25 6:00pm CT
Jake Ferguson

Dallas Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones said on 105.3 The Fan on Monday that it's "a little more of a long shot" for tight end Jake Ferguson (concussion) to play in Week 13 on Thursday on Thanksgiving against the division-rival New York Giants. Ferguson suffered a concussion in the Week 11 loss to the Houston Texans last Monday night and was unable to play in the upset win over the division-rival Washington Commanders in Week 12. With a short turnaround this week, Ferguson is unlikely to be able to clear the league's concussion protocol, meaning he'll probably be inactive for a second straight game. Backup Luke Schoonmaker played 65% of the offensive snaps on Sunday without Ferguson and caught three passes for 55 yards and a touchdown. Schoonmaker is setting up to be a TE2 streamer for the second straight week on Turkey Day against the G-Men.

CeeDee Lamb Nov 25 6:00pm CT
CeeDee Lamb

Dallas Cowboys wide receivers CeeDee Lamb (back, foot) and Brandin Cooks (knee) were both listed as limited on the team's estimated practice report on Monday. Lamb played through multiple injuries in the Week 12 win over the division-rival Washington Commanders and caught 10 passes for 67 yards on 12 targets. He may not practice much on a short week, but we'd be surprised if he's not available as a WR1 for fantasy managers for Thursday's annual Thanksgiving came this year against the division-rival New York Giants. According to executive vice president Stephen Jones, Cooks has a good chance to play on Thursday against the G-Men for the first time since being placed on Injured Reserve on Oct. 5. It will be a boost for Dallas' offense, but fantasy managers shouldn't be expecting much for Cooks, who will likely be an inconsistent deep threat with quarterback Cooper Rush running the offense.

Greg Dulcich Nov 25 5:50pm CT
Greg Dulcich

The Denver Broncos waived tight end Greg Dulcich on Monday. The Broncos took Dulcich in the third round out of UCLA in 2022, and he's had trouble staying on the field early in his NFL career due to injuries. He played in 10 games his rookie season and was never a big part of head coach Sean Payton's offense. Dulcich has played in only six games the last two seasons and was a healthy scratch in each of the Broncos' last eight games this year. In the first four games, the 24-year-old tight end caught only five of his 12 targets for 28 scoreless yards for the Broncos. While a team may not claim Dulcich off waivers, someone is likely to eventually scoop him up off the open market as tight end depth for the rest of the season. Perhaps Dulcich will have a shot to re-enter the fantasy picture in a different situation.

Ladd McConkey Nov 25 5:10pm CT
Ladd McConkey

Los Angeles Chargers rookie wide receiver Ladd McConkey (shoulder) is expected to play in the team's Monday night game against the Baltimore Ravens despite drawing a questionable designation for Week 12. McConkey was unable to practice last Thursday and was limited on Friday and Saturday. The second-rounder out of Georgia leads all rookies with 43 catches and 614 yards and should stay busy on Monday in an excellent matchup against a Ravens secondary that has been allowing big plays to receivers all year. The 23-year-old leads the Chargers in catches, receiving yards and touchdowns (four) going into Monday's contest. During the team's four-game winning streak, McConkey has two 100-yard games, including a season-high 123 yards in the Week 11 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Baltimore has allowed the most half-PPR points to wideouts per game in 2024.

Joey Bosa Nov 25 5:10pm CT
Joey Bosa

The Los Angeles Chargers expect pass-rusher Khalil Mack (groin) to play on Monday night against the visiting Baltimore Ravens to close out Week 12 action. Mack was listed as questionable for Monday's game due to a groin injury that kept him sidelined for the team's Week 11 win over the Cincinnati Bengals last Sunday night. The 33-year-old veteran linebacker made the Pro Bowl for the eighth time in his career in 2023 in his second year with the Bolts, when he went off for a career-best 17 sacks. In his third season, he hasn't been quite as good, recording only 4.5 sacks and 26 tackles (12 solo) in nine starts. It looks like Mack will return on Monday night across from Joey Bosa as a strong Chargers defense looks to slow down one of the highest-scoring offenses in the league -- second with 30.4 points per game.

Tyreek Hill Nov 25 4:20pm CT
Tyreek Hill

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill (wrist) remains on the team's Week 13 injury report and was listed as limited on the estimated practice report on Monday. The Dolphins didn't actually conduct a practice. Hill has been dealing with a wrist injury for most of the season, but it hasn't caused him to miss any game action. Fantasy managers shouldn't have much concern that the 30-year-old speedster won't be available to face the Green Bay Packers on Thanksgiving on Thursday evening. Miami's offense has looked much better since quarterback Tua Tagovailoa returned from his concussion, but Hill's 2024 season has been a disappointing one for fantasy managers, as he has just one 100-yard game (in Week 1) and only three touchdowns. The Packers defense hasn't been the greatest matchup for receivers this year, but the Cheetah remains a must-start in redraft lineups.

From RotoBaller

Hayden Hurst Nov 25 4:20pm CT
Hayden Hurst

The Los Angeles Chargers placed tight end Hayden Hurst (hip) on Injured Reserve on Monday before their Week 12 showdown against the Baltimore Ravens. Hurst, who wasn't on the fantasy radar to begin with, will now miss at least the next four games and won't be eligible to return until Week 16 against the division-rival Denver Broncos at SoFi Stadium on a Thursday night. The 31-year-old veteran only had seven catches on 12 targets for 65 yards and no touchdowns in seven games this year in his first season with the Bolts. Will Dissly will continue to benefit in LA's offense from the absence of Hurst, while Stone Smartt will also have a bigger backup role. Dissly, who had four catches for 80 yards and his first touchdown of the year in the Week 11 win over the Cincinnati Bengals, is in play on Monday night as a low-end TE1 in fantasy against Baltimore.

Romeo Doubs Nov 25 4:10pm CT
Romeo Doubs

The Green Bay Packers listed wide receiver Romeo Doubs (concussion) as a non-participant on their estimated practice report on Monday. The Packers didn't officially hold a practice. Doubs suffered a concussion in the Week 12 win over the San Francisco 49ers and is likely fighting an uphill battle to clear the league's concussion protocol with the team's next game coming on Thanksgiving night on Thursday against the Miami Dolphins. The Packers still have two more days of practice this week, but fantasy managers shouldn't be planning on having Doubs available in Week 13. If the 24-year-old is inactive on Thursday, Christian Watson, Jayden Reed and Dontayvion Wicks will all become much more attractive plays in fantasy lineups. Tight end Tucker Kraft would likely see more targets as well. Malik Heath, who caught a TD on Sunday, would have a bigger role, too.

Brock Purdy Nov 25 4:00pm CT
Brock Purdy

San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan said that quarterback Brock Purdy (shoulder) did some "light throwing" on Monday and that everything was good. Purdy sat out of the Week 12 loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday due to a right-shoulder injury that remains somewhat of a mystery. It's good news that the 24-year-old had a successful throwing session to start the week, but his status for the Week 13 contest versus the Buffalo Bills on Sunday is very much up in the air as of now. If Purdy is unable to go by the weekend, Brandon Allen would likely make a second straight start after going just 17-for-29 for 199 yards, one TD and one interception in the loss to Green Bay. Everyone in San Fran's offense struggled in Week 12 with Allen under center, outside of tight end George Kittle. Any fantasy managers invested in the 49ers' offensive weapons is hoping Purdy returns against Buffalo.

David Montgomery Nov 25 3:50pm CT
David Montgomery

In the Detroit Lions' estimated practice report on Monday, they listed running back David Montgomery (shoulder) as a non-participant. Montgomery injured his shoulder in the second half and never returned in the Week 12 win over the Indianapolis Colts, but he said post-game that he would be ready to go for Thursday's Thanksgiving matchup against the division-rival Chicago Bears. Fantasy managers shouldn't just take the 27-year-old's word for it, though. Because the Lions probably won't have much in the way of normal practices Monday through Wednesday on a short week, it may be difficult to gauge Monty's availability or effectiveness for the Thursday matchup against Chicago. If Montgomery is unable to play in Week 13, Jahmyr Gibbs would have high-end RB1 potential, while Craig Reynolds would serve as Detroit's RB2.

From RotoBaller

Amon-Ra St. Brown Nov 25 3:50pm CT
Amon-Ra St. Brown

Detroit Lions wide receivers Amon-Ra St. Brown (knee) and Kalif Raymond (foot) were both listed as non-participants for the team's walkthrough practice on Monday. St. Brown played 94% of the offensive snaps in the Week 12 win over the Indianapolis Colts, so it's likely that the Lions are just giving the 25-year-old star pass-catcher a little extra rest on a short week before Thursday's Thanksgiving showdown against the division-rival Chicago Bears in Week 13. Raymond, who is more involved as a kick returner on special teams than on offense, could be dealing with more of a serious injury and should probably be considered unlikely to play on Turkey Day. St. Brown is a must-start WR1 in fantasy if active, but if for some reason he doesn't play this week, Jameson Williams, Tim Patrick and Allen Robinson would be in line to start in three-receiver sets.

Austin Ekeler Nov 25 3:00pm CT
Austin Ekeler

Washington Commanders head coach Dan Quinn said on Monday that scans on running back Austin Ekeler's head were good, but he is in the league's concussion protocol after getting injured late in the upset loss to the division-rival Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. The Commanders' backfield was beat up in Week 12, as Brian Robinson (ankle) also left twice. Depending on the availability of both B-Rob and Ekeler for the team's Week 13 contest versus the Tennessee Titans, Jeremy McNichols and Chris Rodriguez Jr. could be thrust into significant roles. The 29-year-old Ekeler failed to take advantage of Robinson's injury on Sunday, as he had 11 touches for just 24 yards against Dallas. We'll keep a close eye on the status of Washington's RBs this week, with Ekeler ultimately needing clearance from an independent neurologist later in the week in order to play on Sunday.

Aaron Rodgers Nov 25 2:20pm CT
Aaron Rodgers

Per New York Jets head coach Jeff Ulbrich, quarterback Aaron Rodgers will start next Sunday when his team takes on the Seattle Seahawks at MetLife Stadium. Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team reported the news. There were some rumblings over the Jets' Week 11 bye that the 40-year-old veteran would be removed from his job as New York's starting signal-caller, but it appears those reports lacked any veritable truth. "There has been no discussion about shutting down Aaron Rodgers," said Ulbrich. The long-time Green Bay Packer is in his twentieth season and hasn't been at his best, leading a reeling New York team that's lost seven of their last eight contests. Perhaps the bye week did this team some good, allowing them to sort out whatever issues they've had. However, that remains to be seen. They'll take on a Seahawks squad that sits atop the NFC West at 6-5.
