New Commanders CB Marshon Lattimore ruled out again

Fri Nov 22 3:51pm ET
Field Level Media

The Washington Commanders will have to wait at least another week for cornerback Marshon Lattimore.

Acquired in a Nov. 5 trade with New Orleans, he has yet to practice for Washington due to a hamstring injury.

On Friday, the Commanders (7-4) ruled Lattimore out for Sunday's game against the visiting Dallas Cowboys (3-7).

Lattimore, 28, recorded 30 tackles in seven starts for the Saints this season but has not played since Oct. 27.

The four-time Pro Bowl selection has 15 interceptions, 88 passes defensed and 405 tackles in 97 career games.

Player Notes
CeeDee Lamb Nov 22 3:50pm CT
CeeDee Lamb

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb (back/foot) does not carry an injury designation for Sunday's divisional tilt against the Washington Commanders, according to Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network. Even though Lamb does not carry an injury designation, Garafolo noted that the star wideout will go through another walkthrough tomorrow. Fantasy managers should monitor his status in case he faces a setback, but he should be expected to suit up. Even though the Dallas offense has struggled with Cooper Rush under center, Lamb caught eight passes for 93 yards in their loss to the Houston Texans last weekend. Fantasy managers should still view Lamb as a solid WR1 facing a Washington secondary that has allowed the 16th-most PPR points to opposing wideouts.

Rachaad White Nov 22 3:50pm CT
Rachaad White

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White has seen his workload in the passing game increase over the last few weeks. In fact, White has five receptions or more with 35-plus receiving in three of his last four games. The biggest problem for White has been in the rushing game. White has been held to 40 rushing yards or less in all of his last four games. The Bucs continue to use a committee approach at running back which limits the value of White. It's worth noting that wide receiver Mike Evans (hamstring) is set to return this weekend. His return could mean less targets for White in the passing game. Fantasy managers should treat White as a low-end RB2 for Week 12.

Sam LaPorta Nov 22 3:40pm CT
Sam LaPorta

Detroit Lions tight end Sam LaPorta (shoulder) is off the injury report and cleared to return to action on Sunday to face the Indianapolis Colts. The sophomore tight end sat out last weekend due to this injury but will return to his starting role on Sunday. LaPorta has struggled to find consistency throughout the season, as he has scored double-digit PPR points on just three occasions and has seen just 3.6 targets per game. Despite his struggles this season, the Detroit offense has remained one of the league's top units, and fantasy should continue to view him as a top-12 option. This weekend, he should have a great opportunity to bounce back against the Colts, who have allowed the sixth-most PPR points to opposing tight ends this season.

Baker Mayfield Nov 22 3:40pm CT
Baker Mayfield

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield was held in check by the San Francisco 49ers in Week 11. The 29-year-old was off last week with the organization on a bye week. Now, Mayfield is set to bounce back against the New York Giants in Week 12. Mayfield has looked like one of the best quarterbacks all season long with 24 touchdowns and over 2,500 passing yards through 10 games. The loss of Chris Godwin (ankle) does hurt this offense, but Mike Evans (hamstring) is expected to return this weekend. The return of Evans would be a significant boost for this offense. Fantasy managers should feel fine plugging Mayfield in as a QB1 for this weekend.

Marshon Lattimore Nov 22 3:33pm CT
Marshon Lattimore

Washington Commanders CB Marshon Lattimore (hamstring) did not participate in practice Friday, Nov. 22, and has been ruled out for Week 12. LB Nick Bellore (knee), DE Javontae Jean-Baptiste (ankle) and PK Austin Seibert (hip) fully participated in practice but are listed as questionable. DE Clelin Ferrell (knee) was limited during practice but is not on the injury report. DE Dorance Armstrong (knee), OT Brandon Coleman (thumb), LB Dante Fowler (hip), CB Noah Igbinoghene (thumb), LB Jordan Magee (elbow) and TE Ben Sinnott (illness) fully participated in practice and are not on the injury report.

Jake Ferguson Nov 22 3:30pm CT
Jake Ferguson

Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson (concussion) will not suit up this weekend to face the Washington Commanders, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. The 25-year-old suffered this concussion last Monday during their loss to the Houston Texans. Fantasy managers should monitor his progress over the week as the Cowboys have a short turnaround for Week 13 as they will face the New York Giants on Thanksgiving. In his absence last week, Luke Schoonmaker brought in six of his ten targets for 56 yards. Given his impressive target share in a relief role, fantasy managers in 14+ team formats could consider Schoonmaker a viable replacement in their divisional title on Sunday afternoon.

Brandin Cooks Nov 22 3:23pm CT
Brandin Cooks

Dallas Cowboys S Markquese Bell (shoulder) and TE Jake Ferguson (concussion) did not take part in practice on Friday, Nov. 22, and were ruled out for Week 12. Also, OG Zack Martin (ankle, shoulder) did not practice and is listed as doubtful, LB Nick Vigil (foot) did not practice but is questionable, OG Tyler Smith (ankle, knee), DE Marshawn Kneeland (knee), CB Trevon Diggs (groin, knee) and WR Brandin Cooks (knee) were limited and are questionable, OT Chuma Edoga (toe) practiced in full but is questionable, and CB DaRon Bland (foot), OT Tyler Guyton (shoulder), LB Eric Kendricks (shoulder), WR CeeDee Lamb (back, foot), CB Jourdan Lewis (neck) and FB Hunter Luepke (calf) practiced in full and were removed from the injury report.

DeVonta Smith Nov 22 3:20pm CT
DeVonta Smith

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's tilt against the Los Angeles Rams, according to Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network. The Alabama product has been unable to practice all week and will set his sights on returning next week to face the Baltimore Ravens. Smith has had two modest showings over the past two games but eclipsed 15.0 PPR points in six games this season. As a result, fantasy managers should expect A.J. Brown to see a heavy target share. In addition, tight end Dallas Goedert should be viewed as a solid TE1 in all formats, as he should also be in store for a significant target increase. Lastly, wide receiver Jahan Dotson should also see an increase in snaps but only be viewed as a high-risk option in DFS formats.

John Parker Romo Nov 22 3:20pm CT
John Parker Romo

Minnesota Vikings kicker John Parker Romo will not be a recommended option this weekend when his team squares off against the Chicago Bears in a divisional matchup. The second-year player has hit on all five of his field goal tries since being called upon to work in Will Reichard's (quad) stead. However, he failed to connect on one of his three extra-point attempts in Week 11's victory over the Tennessee Titans. Romo will get an opportunity to redeem himself this Sunday. Still, there are likely better kicking options for fantasy managers to stream if they are in need of a bye-week replacement. The Bears have stifled opposing passing attacks this season, so points could be hard to come by if quarterback Sam Darnold (foot) struggles against the Vikings' division rivals. The 27-year-old is RotoBaller's K16 in this week's rankings.

JuJu Smith-Schuster Nov 22 3:13pm CT
JuJu Smith-Schuster

Kansas City Chiefs RB Isiah Pacheco (ankle) and DE Charles Omenihu (knee) were limited at practice on Friday, Nov. 22, and were ruled out for Week 12. Also, DB Chamarri Conner (thumb), S Bryan Cook (rib), RB Kareem Hunt (knee) and WR JuJu Smith-Schuster (hamstring) practiced in full and carry no designation.

From TheHuddle

Kareem Hunt Nov 22 3:13pm CT
Kareem Hunt

Kansas City Chiefs RB Kareem Hunt (knee) practiced in full on Friday, Nov. 22, and was removed from the Week 12 injury report.

Fantasy Spin: With Isiah Pacheco (ankle, IR) ruled out again this week, Hunt will have at least one more game with a heavy workload. He's an RB1 in a matchup against the Carolina Panthers' putrid defense.

From TheHuddle

Brock Purdy Nov 22 3:10pm CT
Brock Purdy

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy (shoulder) was not spotted at Friday's practice, according to Nick Wagoner of ESPN. This is not a good sign for his ability this weekend, as he will likely carry an injury designation into the weekend. It was reported earlier on Friday that Purdy underwent a successful MRI but remained in questionable status. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status, but he could be in danger of missing Sunday's game. Purdy has enjoyed a great campaign from a fantasy perspective, averaging 26.0 PPR points per game since Week 6. If Purdy cannot play this weekend, Brandon Allen should be expected to take over starting duties and be viewed as a low-end QB2 in Superflex formats.

Ameer Abdullah Nov 22 3:03pm CT
Ameer Abdullah

Las Vegas Raiders RB Ameer Abdullah will draw the start at running back in Week 12 against the Denver Broncos, according to head coach Antonio Pierce on Friday, Nov. 22.

Fantasy Spin: Although the Raiders have yet to release their final injury report for Week 12, it would seem Pierce knows Alexander Mattison (ankle) and Zamir White (quad) will be ruled out. Unfortunately for Abdullah, the Broncos are not a great matchup for running backs. Abdullah is a gifted receiver out of the backfield, so he has some potential flex appeal in deeper leagues.

Carlton Davis Nov 22 3:03pm CT
Carlton Davis

Detroit Lions CB Ennis Rakestraw Jr. (hamstring) did not practice on Friday, Nov. 22, and has been ruled out for Week 12 against the Indianapolis Colts. CB Terrion Arnold (groin) and CB Emmanuel Moseley (pectoral) practiced in full on Friday, Nov. 22, but are listed as questionable. CB Carlton Davis (thumb), TE Sam LaPorta (shoulder) and TE Shane Zylstra (neck) practiced in full all week and no longer appear on the injury report.

From TheHuddle

DeForest Buckner Nov 22 3:03pm CT
DeForest Buckner

Indianapolis Colts OT Bernhard Raimann (knee) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 12 versus the Detroit Lions. DE Tyquan Lewis (elbow) practiced in full all week but is listed as questionable. DT DeForest Buckner (rest), LB Zaire Franklin (rest), OT Braden Smith (rest) and DT Grover Stewart (rest) did not practice on Friday but are expected to be available. WR Josh Downs (calf), CB Kenny Moore II (knee) and WR Michael Pittman Jr. (back) practiced in full on Friday, Nov. 22, and have been removed from the injury report.

From TheHuddle

Nelson Agholor Nov 22 3:00pm CT
Nelson Agholor

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Nelson Agholor (illness) returned to practice on Friday after sitting out on Thursday. Agholor was feeling under the weather on Thursday, but his return to the practice field a day later bodes well for his availability on Monday night against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 12. The Ravens will have one more practice on Saturday before releasing their final injury report for the week. The 31-year-old Agholor has maintained a small role in the Ravens' passing attack in 2024, catching only 13 of his 26 targets for 205 yards and two touchdowns. Although the team has struggled to get new receiver Diontae Johnson involved in the offense, Johnson's presence alone likely means Agholor will remain off the fantasy radar the rest of the season. Baltimore also has Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman.

From RotoBaller

Jordan Addison Nov 22 3:00pm CT
Jordan Addison

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison will be difficult to trust in Week 12 when his team takes on the Chicago Bears. The second-year wideout has seen his target totals tick up over the previous few contests but will be a risky play as little more than a WR4 this weekend against a Bears defense that's been stout against the pass. On the season, Chicago has averaged a paltry 15.4 receiving points allowed to opposing WRs -- the fourth-fewest total in the league. Additionally, they've intercepted more passes (nine) than touchdowns let up through the air (seven). Addison scored his third touchdown of the season last week -; a 47-yarder -; and has undoubtedly been more involved recently. Still, he ranks as just the PPR WR42 in RotoBaller's Week 12 ranks.

From RotoBaller

Calvin Ridley Nov 22 2:53pm CT
Calvin Ridley

Tennessee Titans WR Calvin Ridley (illness) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 22, and is not on the injury report for Week 12.

Fantasy Spin: Ridley has been targeted at least six times in each of the last six games and will continue to be the main option in the passing game for the Titans. He should be a starting option in all fantasy leagues.

From TheHuddle

Justin Jefferson Nov 22 2:50pm CT
Justin Jefferson

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson gets another challenging outing this Sunday when he takes on the Chicago Bears in a road tilt. The fantasy stalwart had an unfavorable matchup in Week 11 against the Tennessee Titans but still came away with a solid six receptions and 81 yards. Despite just three top-ten weekly finishes at his position, he's still the overall WR3 in PPR formats -; speaking to his consistency. Jefferson has registered less than five receptions twice in ten appearances and has one game all season with less than 50 receiving yards. Chicago is letting up an average of 15.4 fantasy points per game to the wide receiver position and even less to quarterbacks (12.2). However, look for the superstar wideout to find a way to get it done for fantasy managers. He ranks as RotoBaller's PPR WR2 in this week's rankings.

From RotoBaller

Tony Pollard Nov 22 2:50pm CT
Tony Pollard

With Tennessee Titans running back Tyjae Spears (concussion) ruled out for Week 12 against the division-rival Houston Texans, it looks like Tony Pollard will carry more of the load on Sunday. However, Pollard has slowed down after a hot start in 2024. He had just 15 yards on nine carries in the Week 11 loss to the Minnesota Vikings, the second straight week with fewer than 10 carries and 50 rushing yards. The Titans will want to get their ground game going against Houston to help take some pressure off quarterback Will Levis and the offensive line. Pollard leads the Titans with 160 carries this year for 681 yards and three touchdowns and he should have some more volume upside as a low-end RB2/high-end RB3/flex against the Texans. The matchup isn't ideal, though, as Houston's D has allowed the fifth-fewest half-PPR points to RBs in 11 games this year.
