He was again fantastic despite a depleted supporting cast this year, accounting for a whopping 40 total touchdowns. Allen simply proved he was capable of elevating any offense to elite levels and remains one of the very best players to build around in dynasty leagues.

Dynasty | Joe Burrow was named the NFL's Comeback player of the Year. Dynasty Analysis: Burrow returned from various injuries last year to lead the league in passing yards (4,918) and passing touchdowns (43) and finished third in Total QBR (74.7). You could say he had a good year. With Ja'Marr Chase likely around for the long-term. Burrow is about as good as you can get at quarterback in dynasty leagues at the moment. He should be an elite-level QB1 for many years to come and his ADP could climb this off-season.

Dynasty | Saquon Barkley was named the league's Offensive Player of the Year. Dynasty Analysis: After signing as a free agent, Barkley became just the ninth player to reach 2,000 rushing yards and finished just 100 yards shy of Eric Dickerson's single-season rushing record (2,105). He also had seven 60-plus-yard touchdown runs, the most in a single season. In a word, Barkley was dominant this year for Philly. His ADP has risen this season and he could simply the best "short-term" buy in all of dynasty leagues as he could put up two or three more seasons like this one.

Dynasty | Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels was the NFL's Offensive Rookie of the Year. Dynasty Analysis: This was a no-brainer in the land of no-brainers. Daniels became only the sixth rookie quarterback to lead his team to a conference championship game and had the league's best win (at Detroit) in the process. He also rushed for more yards (891) than any other rookie quarterback in history and threw for a whopping 3,568 passing yards. and 25 touchdowns, becoming the league's fourth best passer in terms of total QBR. In short, he was a stud. He'll be a top-flight QB1 for years to come.

According to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, wide receiver Darius Slayton could have several offers during free agency. Fowler noted that several teams are looking for top-end speed on the outside, and Slayton could find a similar contract that Darnell Mooney did prior to the 2024 season with the Atlanta Falcons (three-year $39 million). Fowler also said that the Carolina Panthers "make sense" as a suitor for Slayton. Last season, Slayton tallied 573 yards and two touchdowns on 39 receptions with the Giants. This was his second-lowest yardage total of his career. In 2023, Slayton tallied a career-best 770 yards and four touchdowns on 50 receptions. Slayton was typically deployed as the No. 3 option behind standout rookie Malik Nabers and Wan'Dale Robinson. If he were to sign in Carolina, Slayton could push for a starting role alongside Xavier Legette and Jalen Coker.

Fowler noted that several teams view him as a "top-three" cornerback option in the free-agent class. The 25-year-old suffered a broken femur in October but is expected to be ready for training camp. Before the injury, Adebo tallied 52 tackles (43 solo) with nine assists, 10 deflections, and three interceptions in seven games. He was deployed as a starter in the New Orleans secondary. In 2023, Adebo tallied 76 tackles with 18 deflections and four interceptions. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor the former third-round selection's status during the offseason, as he could be in store for a pay increase. ESPN's Dan Graziano expects the Washington Commanders to be aggressive this offseason in pursuing upgrades on defense after they were able to reach the NFC Championship with rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels. The Commanders know they have something special in Daniels and want to maximize his rookie-contract window. If the Cleveland Browns decide to trade disgruntled All-Pro pass-rusher Myles Garrett eventually, the Commanders are one team that could go all out to acquire him. If it's not Garrett, the Commanders will still likely go after an impact player or two this offseason as they look to improve their defense, which was a weakness in 2024 -- Washington's defense ranked 19th in defensive EPA this year.

ESPN's Dan Graziano writes that Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, who won the 2024 NFL Most Valuable Player award, could be looking for a new contract in the near future. He's scheduled to average around $32 million per year over the four remaining years on his current deal and just made $14.5 million this past season. The problem for Allen is that with four years still left on his current contract, the Bills are unlikely to be in any kind of rush to extend him. However, Graziano suggests the Bills could find some ways to adjust Allen's deal to bring him more in line with the QB market, much like the Kansas City Chiefs have done with superstar QB Patrick Mahomes since he signed his big deal in 2020. Despite falling short of the 4,000-yard passing mark for the first time since 2019, Allen threw 28 touchdowns and a career-low six picks and has 27 rushing TDs the last two years to finish as a top-five fantasy QB.

Pittsburgh Steelers impending free-agent quarterback Russell Wilson has been connected to the New York Giants by a few people during Super Bowl week, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. Wilson visited with the Giants in free agency last year before joining the Steelers, and the Giants could be on his radar once again in 2025. Ex-Steelers players told Fowler this week that some people in Pittsburgh's building prefer Justin Fields (also a free agent) over Wilson due to his age and mobility. However, head coach Mike Tomlin's loyalty to Wilson means something, and Fields could price himself out of Pittsburgh's range if his market is strong this offseason. NFL executives believe Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp will have a solid trade market this offseason because he's quarterback-friendly, makes contested catches and is an extremely hard worker. There are questions about the 31-year-old's lower-body injuries, but he did manage 67 receptions for 710 yards and six touchdowns while missing five games in 2024. The Rams might have to eat some of the $20 million Kupp is due in 2025 to facilitate a trade, but ESPN's Jeremy Fowler mentions the New England Patriots, Pittsburgh Steelers, Detroit Lions, Washington Commanders and Kansas City Chiefs as a few teams that could be interested. ESPN's Dan Graziano has talked with multiple people who believe that the Tennessee Titans could trade out of the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft and look for their next quarterback elsewhere. It could mean that the Titans give former second-rounder Will Levis another shot in 2025, or they could add a free-agent option such as Sam Darnold or Justin Fields. If the Titans aren't absolutely sold on one of the top QBs in this year's class, they could be better off seeing what other teams will offer while focusing on other extensive needs on their roster first. Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford is expected to return for another season in 2025, but ESPN's Dan Graziano writes that the Rams will likely need to restructure Stafford's contract again. His current salary cap hit for 2025 is around $50 million, so the Rams will likely convert his salary into bonuses again to lower the cap hit and move Stafford's 2025 compensation into the range of a good starting QB. Although Stafford is now 37 and strictly a pocket passer, he ranked 12th in QBR (64.7) in 2024 and can still pick apart defenses with his strong arm. From all accounts, he appeared to be happy with the direction of the team, and multiple sources with the team don't believe drastic changes are coming this offseason. If the Rams do entertain trading Stafford, he'll be one of the most coveted signal-callers available.

ESPN's Jeremy Fowler writes that New York Jets wide receiver Davante Adams is intrigued by a potential return to the West Coast and would be open to joining the Los Angeles Chargers or Los Angeles Rams if he gets released this offseason.
