Fifteen former players will take a deep breath and hope to hear their name called when the Pro Football Hall of Fame announces its newest slate of modern-era selections on Thursday night ahead of Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans.

The Hall of Fame Selection Committee can elect up to five players from the 15-member list. The announcement will air during the NFL Honors broadcast starting at 9 p.m. ET on Thursday on Fox and the NFL Network.

The group includes six first-time nominees: Eli Manning, Terrell Suggs, Steve Smith Sr., Luke Kuechly, Adam Vinatieri and Marshal Yanda. Nine other nominees return as finalists, with Torry Holt and Reggie Wayne experiencing the longest waits as they enter their sixth cycle hoping to be selected.

Manning said he was trying to keep this week in perspective as he waits to hear whether he is a first-ballot selection into the Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.

.

"It's one of those things, you can't control it," Manning said to NFL Network. "So why worry about it? You'll know one way or the other.

"It's not that I'm not going to lose sleep over this. ... (But) I'm going to enjoy being in New Orleans no matter what."

Vinatieri also spoke about his nerves heading into the selection. He is hoping to become the third primary kicker to reach the Hall of Fame, joining Jan Stenerud and Morten Andersen.

"Holding my breath, obviously, but there's no guarantee at this level," Vinatieri said to radio station WEEI in Boston. "Everybody that's in the top 15 is definitely worthy, and probably rightfully so. We'll see. I don't know what the expectation should be, but I'm very optimistic."

Five defensive players are among the 15 finalists: ends Jared Allen and Suggs, linebacker Kuechly, cornerback Eric Allen and safety Darren Woodson. A trio of offensive linemen -- Willie Anderson, Jahri Evans and Yanda -- also are on the list.

Running back Fred Taylor, wideouts Smith Sr., Holt and Wayne, and tight end Antonio Gates also are on the doorstep of hearing their name called.

In addition to the 15 modern-era finalists, the selection committee reviews three senior finalists, one coach and one contributor. The committee can select up to eight people from all of the groups of finalists.

The senior finalists are Maxie Baughan, Sterling Sharpe and Jim Tyrer. Super Bowl-winning coach Mike Holmgren and contributor Ralph Hay also are candidates.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame's induction ceremony is expected to take place during the first week of August in Canton. The ceremony will be part of an Enshrinement Week that also is set to include the annual preseason Hall of Fame Game and the Enshrinees' Gold Jacket Dinner.

Modern-era finalists:

CB Eric Allen (two-time finalist); 14 seasons: 1988-94 Philadelphia Eagles, 1995-97 New Orleans Saints, 1998-2001 Oakland Raiders

The six-time Pro Bowl player from Arizona State finished with 54 career interceptions, which ranks No. 21 all time. He returned eight interceptions for touchdowns, which is tied for eighth in NFL history.

DE Jared Allen (five-time finalist); 12 seasons: 2004-07 Kansas City Chiefs, 2008-2013 Minnesota Vikings, 2014-15 Chicago Bears, 2015 Carolina Panthers

A fourth-round draft pick from Idaho State, the four-time All-Pro had 136 sacks. Every player ahead of him on the all-time sack list, other than fellow first-time finalist Terrell Suggs, is in the Hall of Fame

OT Willie Anderson (four-time finalist); 13 seasons: 1996-2007 Cincinnati Bengals, 2008 Baltimore Ravens

The 6-foot-5, 340-pound Anderson started 184 of 195 career games and was named to four Pro Bowls in a row from the 2003-06 seasons. He blocked for nine 1,000-yard rushers in his career, and he helped pave the way for Corey Dillon to set single-game records for rushing yards by a rookie (246) and rushing yards by any player (278). Each record stood for nearly three years, according to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

G Jahri Evans (two-time finalist); 12 seasons: 2006-16 New Orleans Saints, 2017 Green Bay Packers

Evans greatly overachieved as a fourth-round pick (No. 108 overall) out of Division II Bloomsburg (Pa.) University. He started each of the 183 games in which he played, and he was selected to six consecutive Pro Bowls from the 2009-14 seasons. He was part of a Saints team that won Super Bowl XLIV, and he was named to the Saints Hall of Fame in 2021.

TE Antonio Gates (two-time finalist); 16 seasons: 2003-18 San Diego/Los Angeles Chargers

Gates entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent after playing basketball at Kent State. He went on to become one of the greatest tight ends in NFL history. The eight-time Pro Bowl selection caught 116 touchdown passes, which ranks No. 1 all time among tight ends and No. 7 all time among all receivers. He had 21 career multi-touchdown games, which also is the most by any tight end. He was named to the NFL's All-Decade Team for the 2000s.

WR Torry Holt (six-time finalist); 11 seasons: 1999-2008 St. Louis Rams, 2009 Jacksonville Jaguars

Holt was a key member of the "Greatest Show on Turf" teams in St. Louis that included Kurt Warner, Marshall Faulk, Isaac Bruce, Ricky Proehl and others. To cap his rookie season, he had seven catches for a 109 yards and a touchdown to help the Rams beat the Tennessee Titans in Super Bowl XXXIV. He led the NFL in receiving yards in 2000 and 2003, and he had 80-plus catches in eight consecutive seasons. Holt was named to seven Pro Bowls.

LB Luke Kuechly (first-time eligible, finalist); 8 seasons: 2012-19 Carolina Panthers

As the No. 9 overall pick out of Boston College in 2012, Kuechly immediately took over as the heart of the Panthers' defense. He twice led the NFL in tackles, including in his rookie season. He topped 100 tackles in each of his eight seasons, and he also notched 18 interceptions, 12.5 sacks and 31 quarterback hits in his career. He won the Butkus Award as the top linebacker in the NFL in 2014, 2015 and 2017 and a five-time All-Pro before retiring at age 28 after suffering multiple concussions in his career.

QB Eli Manning (first-time eligible, finalist); 16 seasons: 2004-2019 New York Giants

Peyton's little brother was the No. 1 pick in 2004 by the Chargers and was traded to the New York Giants, where he spent 16 seasons, started 210 consecutive games (of 236), won two Lombardi trophies and was two-time Super Bowl MVP.

WR Steve Smith Sr. (first-time finalist); 16 seasons: 2001-13 Carolina Panthers, 2014-16 Baltimore Ravens

The Panthers selected Smith in the third round (No. 74) out of Utah in 2001, and he quickly emerged as a top-tier talent. He was the only rookie to make the Pro Bowl that season, which was the first of five Pro Bowls that he would reach. He finished his career with 1,031 catches for 14,731 yards and 81 touchdowns. He also scored six touchdowns on special teams (four punt returns, two kick returns).

OLB Terrell Suggs (first-time eligible, finalist); 17 seasons: 2003-18 Baltimore Ravens, 2019 Arizona Cardinals, 2019 Kansas City Chiefs

Suggs was one of the most dominant players on one of the most dominant defenses in the NFL for more than a decade. The seven-time Pro Bowl selection racked up double-digit sacks in seven seasons and finished his career with 139 sacks. He was named as the AP Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2003, and he won Defensive Player of the Year in 2011.

RB Fred Taylor (two-time finalist); 13 seasons: 1998-2008 Jacksonville Jaguars, 2009-10 New England Patriots

The former Florida Gator was the Jaguars' first-round pick (No. 9 overall) in 1998, and he scored 17 touchdowns from scrimmage as a rookie to set a franchise record that still stands. He topped 1,000 rushing yards seven times in his career, including his best season in 2003 when he rushed for 1,572 yards. He averaged 4.6 yards per carry during his career and finished with 74 touchdowns (66 rushing, eight receiving).

K Adam Vinatieri (first-time eligible, finalist); 24 seasons: 1996-2005 New England Patriots, 2006-19 Indianapolis Colts

Vinatieri earned four Super Bowl rings -- three with the Patriots and one with the Colts. He is the career points leader for both franchises, with 1,158 career points for New England and 1,515 career points for Indianapolis. He also is the NFL's all-time leader in points (2,673), field goals (599) and 100-point seasons (21). He was named to the NFL 100 All-Time Team and the league's All-Decade Team of the 2000s.

WR Reggie Wayne (six-time finalist); 14 seasons: 2001-14 Indianapolis Colts

Wayne stood out during both the regular season and the playoffs during his long career, which included 12 trips to the postseason. He topped 1,000 receiving yards eight times, and he was selected to the Pro Bowl six times in a seven-year period. He also won a Super Bowl with the Colts, and he caught 93 passes in the postseason, which ranked second all-time when he retired. He finished his career with 1,070 catches for 14,345 yards and 82 touchdowns.

S Darren Woodson (three-time finalist); 12 seasons: 1992-2003 Dallas Cowboys

Woodson was a key defender on three Super Bowl-winning teams in Dallas (XXVII, XXVIII, XXX). He was named to five Pro Bowls and he finished his career as the Cowboys' all-time leader with 1,350 tackles. He had 26 interceptions including the postseason, and he returned two of those interceptions for touchdowns. He was named to the Cowboys' Ring of Honor in 2015.

G/OT Marshal Yanda (first-time eligible, finalist); 13 seasons: 2007-19 Baltimore Ravens

Yanda earned eight Pro Bowl selections and helped the Ravens win Super Bowl XLVII against the San Francisco 49ers. He started 166 of 177 career games. After an injury cut short his season in 2017, he returned to finish his career with back-to-back Pro Bowl campaigns in 2018-19. He was named to the NFL's All-Decade Team of the 2010s.

Starts, Sits, Sleepers: Week 12

Player Notes
Rhamondre Stevenson Nov 21 9:50am CT
Rhamondre Stevenson

Through the first eight weeks of 2025, New England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson (toe) was his team's RB1, recording 448 scrimmage yards and three touchdowns on 99 touches. However, Stevenson has missed New England's last three contests with a toe injury, opening the door for rookie back TreVeyon Henderson. Henderson has recorded 330 scrimmage yards and five touchdowns on 57 touches over the last three weeks. Stevenson has logged two limited practices so far this week, and his status for New England's Week 12 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals remains unclear. Even if Stevenson can return against Cincinnati, his workload may now be limited thanks to Henderson's breakout. If Stevenson is active in Week 12, he profiles as a low-end flex option for fantasy managers in a favorable matchup against Cincinnati. Should Henderson continue to perform, Stevenson's value may only continue to drop over the final weeks of the fantasy season.

Evan Engram Nov 21 9:40am CT
Evan Engram

Across 10 games this season, Denver Broncos tight end Evan Engram has recorded 32 catches for 260 yards and one touchdown on 50 targets. While the 31-year-old's role in the Denver offense as a short-area target has remained fairly stable for most of the 2025 season, he hasn't factored in the red zone and brings almost no explosive ability to the table at this point in his career. Despite earning at least five targets in six out of 10 contests, Engram has yet to crack 42 receiving yards in a game. Denver also has a deep cast of talented pass-catchers between wide receivers Courtland Sutton, Troy Franklin, and Marvin Mims Jr. The Broncos have their bye week in Week 12 before a Week 13 matchup against the Washington Commanders. However, even in a favorable matchup against the struggling Washington defense, Engram will be tough to trust as a starting fantasy tight end in Week 13.

Justin Fields Nov 21 9:30am CT
Justin Fields

Heading into their Week 12 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens, the New York Jets announced that veteran Tyrod Taylor will be taking over for Justin Fields as the team's starting quarterback. The demotion is the next rough patch in what's been a rocky first season in New York for Fields. Across nine games, the 26-year-old has completed 62.7% of his pass attempts for 1,259 yards, seven touchdowns, and one interception. While Fields remains a threat with his legs (383 rushing yards, four touchdowns), he's averaged a career-low 6.2 yards per pass attempt while taking a sack on 11.7% of his drop-backs. Unless Taylor were to get injured, Fields is not expected to be re-inserted as the Jets' starter this season. It remains to be seen whether Fields will stay in New York for the 2026 season or if he will get another shot to be a starter elsewhere, but he's unlikely to carry fantasy value in redraft leagues for the remainder of 2025.

Rachaad White Nov 21 9:20am CT
Rachaad White

With Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Bucky Irving (shoulder, foot) sidelined by injury since Week 4, fellow Bucs back Rachaad White had the first chance to assume the team's RB1 role. However, White is averaging less than four yards per rush attempt this season, and in Week 11, it appeared as though the team made a shift to running back Sean Tucker. In Tampa Bay's Week 11 loss to the Buffalo Bills, Tucker exploded for 140 scrimmage yards and three touchdowns on 21 touches while White recorded just 62 scrimmage yards on 12 touches. Irving will remain out for Tampa Bay's Week 12 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams, which means both White and Tucker will likely get their share of playing time for another week. White has been a consistent feature in the passing game, recording 20 receptions for 110 yards on 23 targets in the six games Irving has missed. Still, White should be expected to continue to lose work to Tucker in the rushing game and profiles as a low-end flex option for fantasy managers in Week 12 against Los Angeles.

Parker Washington Nov 21 8:50am CT
Parker Washington

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Parker Washington has seen an increased role in the offense over the last few weeks. Primarily due to wideout Brian Thomas Jr. (ankle) being sidelined the last few games, and Travis Hunter (knee) being out for the season. Unfortunately for Washington, the Jaguars brought in Jakobi Meyers from Las Vegas, and now all of a sudden, with Thomas Jr. logging limited practices all week, Meyers ramping up, and the Jaguars identifying themselves as a run-first offense lately with Travis Etienne and Bhayshul Tuten, the path to opportunities for Washington appears a bit fuzzier than before. Regardless, Washington has built good chemistry with Trevor Lawrence over the past month, as he has earned 28 targets over the past four games, even though he saw only two in Week 11. Washington profiles as a WR3 heading into a Week 12 matchup where the Jaguars get the Arizona Cardinals, who rank decently against wide receivers, but nothing to be frightened of. That said, if your team has wide receiver depth and needs to make a roster move for a high-cieling handcuff, or rostering someone with a solid fantasy playoff schedule, Washington is droppable in 10-12-team formats.

Jacory Croskey-Merritt Nov 21 8:40am CT
Jacory Croskey-Merritt

Washington Commanders rookie running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt, out of Arizona, has seen his role decrease over the past few weeks. Chris Rodriguez Jr. saw a season-high 15 carries in Week 11 and ran for a very solid 5.27 YPC. Meanwhile, Croskey-Merritt saw a 27 percent snap share, and although he carried the ball nine times and caught one pass, it all added up to 33 all-purpose yards (3.11 YPC) against the Miami Dolphins in Spain. The Commanders are on a bye in Week 12, and it appears that this running back room is starting to shape out in a way where Rodriguez will get a bulk of the carries, Croskey-Merrritt will be the change of pace back, and Jeremy McNichols will get mixed in as the pass-catching option. Knowing all of this, it makes Rodriguez the clear running back to own in this backfield, and Croskey-Merritt can be dropped to the waiver wire if your team is in a pinch and you need to fill the roster spot with someone that can help you win now. In Week 13, the Commanders get the Denver Broncos, where none of the running backs will be a recommended start, as the Broncos' defense ranks top 5 in points allowed against opposing running backs.

Keon Coleman Nov 21 8:30am CT
Keon Coleman

Buffalo Bills second-year wide receiver out of Florida State, Keon Coleman, was benched for the second straight week and did not suit up for the Bills' Thursday Night Football game against the Houston Texans. The Bills fell short, losing 23-19, and have now fallen to (7-4) on the season. The offense was a bit of a mess on Thursday night, due in large part to the spectacular Texans defense and to Coleman and Dalton Kincaid (hamstring) being out. Because of this, Khalil Shakir had a big game, leading the pass-catching room with 10 targets in a game that required quarterback Josh Allen to throw the football 34 times. At this point, Coleman has 32 receptions for 330 yards and three touchdowns on the season, and is not performing on the field to the level the Bills want him to be, nor in the classroom, where he consistently shows up late for meetings, which is why he was benched in the first place. At this point, Coleman can be dropped in all fantasy formats if needed and remains a dynasty stash at best.

Bucky Irving Nov 21 8:20am CT
Bucky Irving

NFL insider Mike Florio spoke on Thursday with Chris Simms on NFL on NBC and mentioned that Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Bucky Irving (shoulder, foot) needed extra support after being injured and away from his team for the first time in his career, according to people close to the situation. He also mentioned that Irving "isn't going to be back anytime soon," Bucs beat writer Rick Stroud reports. This news is not what fantasy managers who have been holding onto Irving want to hear, especially after Irving has been able to log limited practices the past two weeks. At this point, Irving's status remains unclear, and the hope is that because he is logging practices, he is nearing a return. While Irving remains sidelined, Sean Tucker is expected to see more reps after breaking out with three touchdowns in Week 11, with Rachaad White staying involved as well.

Joe Flacco Nov 21 8:00am CT
Joe Flacco

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Flacco (shoulder) is likely losing his starting job soon, with Joe Burrow (foot) logging two straight full practices on Wednesday and Thursday this week. Flacco has performed admirably in Burrow's absence, bringing fantasy life back into players like Chase Brown, Tee Higgins, and Ja'Marr Chase. In his five starts with the Bengals, he has 2,268 passing yards, 14 touchdowns, and nine interceptions. He also has a 46.4 QBR and a 108.6 passer rating as the team went (1-4), which was no fault of the offense, as they put up 18, 33, 38,42, and 12 points in all of his starts. Burrow is the team's clear franchise quarterback, so if the Bengals feel he is ready to go, he will. At this point, considering Flacco will likely only start one or maybe two more games, it's okay to drop him to the waiver wire in all formats once Burrow is announced as the starter.

From RotoBaller

Davis Mills Nov 21 6:20am CT
Davis Mills

Houston Texans quarterback Davis Mills completed 16 of his 30 passes for 153 yards and two touchdowns against the Buffalo Bills on Thursday Night Football. He didn't turn the ball over and managed his way to a third straight victory while starting in place of C.J. Stroud (concussion). Mills has proven to be a very competent backup over the last three weeks, leading a big comeback over Jacksonville, taking care of Tennessee, and now defeating the Bills in a game with big playoff implications for both teams. He'll be ready for another start next week on the road against the Colts, but there's also a chance that with the extra time off, Stroud will be able to return for next week's contest. Keep an eye on the injury report leading up to Week 13 to see if Mills will get another chance.

From RotoBaller

Nico Collins Nov 21 6:10am CT
Nico Collins

Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins was only targeted three times on Thursday Night, catching all three passes but finishing with only 55 yards. He was not targeted at all in the second half. Despite his down game, Collins' team was still able to pull out a huge win over the Bills, 23-19, to remain right in the middle of the playoff hunt in the AFC. The Texans have won three straight under Davis Mills, but they'll hope to get C.J. Stroud (concussion) back for next week's huge divisional road game against the Colts. If Stroud returns, Collins will have a higher ceiling, but he has gotten so much volume in the rest of his games this season that he should be poised for a bounce-back performance next week, regardless of who is under center.

From RotoBaller

Dalton Schultz Nov 21 1:33am CT
Dalton Schultz

Houston Texans TE Dalton Schultz had one catch (on four targets) for nine yards during the team's Week 12 win over the Buffalo Bills.

Fantasy Spin: Schultz had seen his production go up with Davis Mills under center, but that was not the case on Thursday night, and now C.J. Stroud (concussion) is set to return. In Stroud's seven full games this season, Schultz averaged just 44 yards per game without a touchdown. We'll see if that trend continues in Week 13. For now, Schultz is worth owning exclusively in leagues deep enough to carry a TE2.

From TheHuddle

Christian Kirk Nov 21 1:13am CT
Christian Kirk

Houston Texans WR Christian Kirk had five receptions (on six targets) for 54 yards and a touchdown in a Week 12 win over the Buffalo Bills.

Fantasy Spin: By pretty much any measure, Kirk has been a disappointment in his first season with the Texans, battling injuries and doing little in the games he's appeared -- entering play on Thursday night he'd topped 30 yards in a game just once this season. We'll see if his 5-54-1 effort against the Bills helps get his season on track or if he'll be right back on the struggle bus in Week 13. If you're desperate for help in deeper leagues, you might want to take a flier on Kirk. For everyone else, a wait-and-see approach is sufficient.

From TheHuddle

Nick Chubb Nov 21 12:43am CT
Nick Chubb

Houston Texans RB Nick Chubb had 16 yards on six carries against the Buffalo Bills in Week 12. He also had one catch for minus-one yard.

Fantasy Spin: If there was any lingering doubt, Thursday night in a huge game against a tough opponent, Woody Marks got 17 touches to seven for Chubb, and the rookie was more effective with them. Unless Marks gets injured or starts having ball security issues, it's hard to see a path for Chubb to get back into playable fantasy territory again. Perhaps those in deeper leagues might want to roster him for depth, but that's about his ceiling right now.

From TheHuddle

Christian Kirk Nov 20 11:00pm CT
Christian Kirk

Houston Texans wide receiver Christian Kirk caught five of his six targets for 54 yards and a touchdown during Thursday's Week 12 win over the Buffalo Bills. The 29-year-old had his best game as a Texan, scoring his first touchdown of the year and setting a new season-high in receptions. Kirk is trending up in the Houston offense, but so is Jayden Higgins, and Nico Collins has already established himself as the alpha receiver. If C.J. Stroud (concussion) can return next week and support three fantasy-relevant receivers, then Kirk will be worth starting in Week 14 and beyond. However, if that's not the case, the veteran is likely the odd man out among him, Collins, and Higgins. For now, he ranks as a fringe top-50 fantasy receiver rest-of-season.

From RotoBaller

Josh Allen Nov 20 10:53pm CT
Josh Allen

Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen completed 24 of 34 passes for 253 yards, no touchdowns, and two interceptions versus the Houston Texans in Week 12. Allen, who added 20 yards on five carries, was also sacked a career-high eight times in the loss.

Fantasy Spin: Coming off a monster six-touchdown effort versus the Buccaneers, Allen went without a touchdown for the second time this season. He also took an absolute beating, and it'll be interesting to see if he came away from the game with any kind of lingering wrist issue after he was frequently shaking it out for much of the game. Assuming he's alright, Allen should be right back in your lineup next Sunday in Pittsburgh.

From TheHuddle

Woody Marks Nov 20 10:50pm CT
Woody Marks

Houston Texans running back Woody Marks rushed for 74 yards on 16 carries during Thursday's Week 12 win over the Buffalo Bills. He also caught his lone target for a loss of five yards. Marks led the Texans' backfield in the victory, notably logging 10 more carries than Nick Chubb. He averaged 4.6 yards per carry and was productive in short-yardage scenarios, rushing for a handful of first downs. Although Marks' lack of touchdowns and receptions resulted in him finishing below his fantasy projection in most formats, it was encouraging to see him handle the lead-back role with efficiency once again. He remains a mid-to-low RB2 with high volume heading into Week 13 against the Indianapolis Colts.

From RotoBaller

Josh Allen Nov 20 10:50pm CT
Josh Allen

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen completed 24 of his 34 pass attempts for 253 passing yards, zero touchdowns, and two interceptions during Thursday's Week 12 loss against the Houston Texans. He also rushed for 20 yards and took a career-high eight sacks. Allen had no answer for Houston's ferocious pass rush, and he didn't fare well against their secondary, either. For the first time since Week 9 of the 2021 season, Allen finished a game with zero touchdowns and at least one interception. We all know that Allen is an MVP-caliber player with tremendous passing and rushing upside, so he should bounce back as a QB1 against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 13. Nevertheless, this Thursday night defeat is one that Allen and his fantasy managers will want to forget, as it likely put a lot of managers in an early deficit as they kick off their Week 12 fantasy matchups.

From RotoBaller

Jayden Higgins Nov 20 10:50pm CT
Jayden Higgins

Houston Texans wide receiver Jayden Higgins caught four of his nine targets for 38 yards and a touchdown during Thursday's Week 12 win over the Buffalo Bills. The rookie led the team in targets and had more catches than Nico Collins, contributing to the Texans' third straight victory under backup quarterback Davis Mills. Higgins has looked solid with Mills under center, catching 13 of 23 targets for 135 yards and two touchdowns during that three-week span. He, Collins, and Christian Kirk have all carved out fantasy-relevant roles lately, but it remains to be seen whether the distribution of targets will look any different when C.J. Stroud (concussion) returns to action next week. Higgins' streak of strong performances should keep him in the high-end WR3/flex tier for Week 13 against the Indianapolis Colts.

James Cook Nov 20 10:40pm CT
James Cook

Buffalo Bills running back James Cook had 17 carries for 116 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown during Thursday's Week 12 loss against the Houston Texans. He also caught all three of his targets for an additional 13 receiving yards. The highlight of his game was a 45-yard touchdown run to break a scoreless tie in the first quarter. Even as the Bills' offense was slowed down by the Texans' strong defense, Cook still had a very productive game and carved out a terrific fantasy performance once again. He logged his first rushing touchdown since Week 8 and now has nine trips to the end zone this season. He remains a high-end RB1 option heading into Week 13 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
